Is the rear end destroyed? Test drive after finding major metal in the oil

Completing repairs after replacing many very bad wheel bearings, king pins, air bags and more. The test drive will help to determine the condition of the rear end. After seeing the amount of metal that came out of the rear end in the oil we are hoping the major rear end rebuild will not be needed right now.
Cool video included of a shelf cloud storm formation rolling in early in the morning.

Whoa! You really brought that bus's running gear back from the dead. That test run was incredibly quiet. Hi Scott, like many of your followers it's fantastic to see people taking pride in these old classics, i remember my 1st long distance Greyhound bus ride Houston to LA, 1 bus 3 drivers, it was a MC-9, the only problem we had was a flat tire on the left steer tire some where between Phoenix and Yuma AZ, thankfully the driver had noticed it before it blew, he said must have hit something sharp on the road, that delayed us about 3 hours, i was 8 yrs old 1987, my grandparents was scared to fly so Greyhound was their mode of transportation.
