There are a few other brands all floating around this $200 range as you know. It would be interesting to see what panel they are all using. Also good on you for mentioning the HDR thing, I feel like a lot of companies just tack that on without actually having real HDR. Great video man. Let me say this, I'm not a gamer and I don't know nothing about all the pc information you mentioned before getting to reviewing the monitor, a matter a fact i just brought me a ps4 pro and may never buy a ps5, I'm just not into gaming or shooting games or games that require fast millisecond reactions, I'm more of a Gran Turismo racing game guy, very simple games GTA5. I only have these 2 consoles in my Over the Road Big Rig so when I'm on break or doing a 10 break I can play the game for about an hour or 2 max. But I'm writing because you showed one thing on this review in which that's All I really needed to see was the height adjustment, bro just those few seconds made a Huge difference in wanting me to purchase this monitor, I need a monitor that has a height adjusting feature due to the space in my truck. Than another plus was you mentioning the Titan Army monitors with the same specs for less, I quickly googled that, so ill be comparing the 2 because I need a 27 in monitor that's adjustable. The space i have to work with is right at 17 inch, if I can find a monitor that's 2 hairs less than that height I'm highly interested, I just returned a MSI Mag 24.5 255xfv it may have been a good monitor It last 2 weeks only because I said dang I could have a 27 in with height adjustment & it'll be better than this. So in hunting. I appreciate your upload, thumbs-up & I subed to channel.

@@ErockOnTech It's a shame the 4090 Ti didn't happen considering the 4090 used a significantly cut down chip, leaving plenty of performance headroom for a 4090 Ti that would have been quite a bit faster than the 4090. Never wait for the 90 Ti GPU like I did. I regret it. I am excited to see what the 5090 has to offer, though.
@ErockOnTech4 ай бұрын
@@Gamer-q7vI know you really wanted the 4090 Ti. But they didn’t really have a need to release it. The 4090 is still the fastest gaming GPU on the market currently. @Gamer-q7v4 ай бұрын
@@ErockOnTechYeah, you are correct about that. I might have regretted the 4090 Ti if the 5090 launched soon after that. The RTX 5090 is rumoured to have 24576 CUDA Cores, 192 RT Cores, 768 Tensor Cores, more ROPs, more Cache, GDDR7, and much higher clock speeds and IPC. Combine all of that with architectural improvements, and the 5090 could definitely be 70-80% faster than the 4090 at native 4K raster, and the gains should be even larger in ray traced games. The 5090 will use a cut down GB202 chip. From the leaks I have seen, the full chip comes with 216 SMs. That definitely leaves quite a lot of performance headroom left for a 5090 Ti that would be significantly faster. I doubt there will be a 5090 Ti, unfortunately. I could be wrong, though. Sorry if this got slightly technical or if the comment was long. I was just giving my opinion on this.

I don’t own Hell Blade or Alan Wake. And Cyberpunk is tricky to do a fair test. I can max everything out, sure, but that would likely call for the use of DLSS. So you mention that adaptive sync is kicking in. Two times while at 200+ fps. Isnt adaptiv sync the hz on the monitor following the fps in the game? ( i might be wrong here) so then at 181 fps the adaptiv sync would be turned off? I guess it has a range from 30-180hz adaptive? Love your videos -
@ErockOnTech4 ай бұрын
Thank you 🙏 What I meant by adaptive sync is that I exceeded the monitors refresh rate and did not experience screen tearing. This monitor does not have g sync or free sync. So adaptive sync is the next best thing. Without it, there would be noticeable screen tearing.

The 4090 might be justifiable for competitive e-sports or for 4K or superwide gaming. It's certainly appropriate for video effects editing if video effects editing is how you make a living. For anything else, it's way overkill. I decline to buy Nvidia GPUs and I don't care much about high FPS, so I use a 6750XT for 3440x1440 gaming, and I run a 7900XTX for 4K gaming. For 1440p 16x9, I'd buy a 7700XT, or, if I were Team Green brainwashed, a 4070 (because I loathe the 4060 and all its variants). There's no reason to go higher.
