I still have the Note 8, and I can say that it's still very usable in 2024. I use it as my backup phone, my main phone being iPhone 11 pro.

I know people that still use an Iphone 6 and Galaxy S6 Edge/S7 or a 10 year old low end Huawei.Of course the Note 8 Flagship would work great
