The funniest part of this entire franchise is the fact that Jigsaw is 53 when he dies in Saw 3, which means he is like 51-52 in this film, being played by 81 year old Tobin Bell, also imagine what the kid’s parents thought when he showed up at home covered in blood with a big bag of money and an old man behind him also covered in blood

I'M SO GLAD YOU INCLUDED YOUR TOBIN BELL AND SHAWNEE SMITH AGE-UP/BRYAN CRANSTON AND AARON PAUL AGE-UP IN THIS VIDEO! It was my favorite part of the commentary because not only was it the perfect intersection of my interests, it was the PERFECT comparison. And in both cases, I'm so thrilled there was no ugly makeup or fucked up de-aging software: they trusted their audiences. The actors are great enough to inhabit their characters no matter how they look. I love this movie and I'm so happy it lived up to the Saw name.

Its amazing that this movie made John so sympathetic. Youd think knowing the horrible things he did later on would detract from feeling sorry for him, but it really didndt for me and from what ive seen most people agree. Saw has always been one of those franchises where the audience tends to root for the bad guys anyways, but this entry really takes it a step further.
@YearinLou8 ай бұрын
Seeing that smile on Jigsaw's face after he says it wasn't quite what they had planned made my stomach drop. In that moment, he became more human instead of a monster. The conversation with Amanda was close second, but dude. I can't help but mention how HOT Tobin Bell looked doing it. He's laughing at his own mistake, it makes the whole movie about "humanizing" the villain satisfying. I've been waiting for you to make a commentary track on this!!!! I'm sad you're not making it to Seattle, but I'm hoping we'll get to see a highlight reel of the tour. Congrats!!!! (:

the vaccum eyeball trap really bugs me because breaking your fingers CANNOT Be that painful compared to the other traps jigsaw has put people in. just crank it up to 5 and get them all over with at once. yes its gonna hurt but its nothing compared to cutting off a limb or taking a piece of skin off. also you have a better chance of them healing back to normal
@MattSipka8 ай бұрын
I know it’s supposed to be in John’s imagination, however I think it would’ve been interesting if after the guy put the valuables back in the drawer, it went back to the beginning of the trap and the guy turns the dial all the way, instantly defeating the trap as jigsaw intended.

13:33 valentina and the other guy shouldn’t have lost their traps, first off they complete them and the machine is just two slow so it’s not really on them. Secondly these specific traps are designed so that it would be a nightmare to survive them, removing the marrow from your bones is agony and we could have seen the aftermath of that if she passed the test also why do a brain trap if your not gonna show him afterwards struggling in some way like if he says he can’t see properly cos he scooped a bunch of his brain out, the doctor lady can explain all of this and help them deal with it plus she caps the witnesses anyway so we could have seen all these peeps go through hell, deal with their new conditions and then get popped anyway and ruin their redemption
