Still a very good paddle in 2024. I've added lead tape on the four corners and a small patch at the top center and it's a perfect balance of power and control. Recommended for players that are intermediate to advance. My 2 cents.

It’s a fun paddle! Especially once you add a bit of lead/tungsten to it.

Great Video exactly what I was looking for as I have seen the price drop on these as everyone is starting to go for Carbon thermoformed paddles. Is this the only paddle you play with? If not, is there another paddle you would rec'd? I use the Luxx paddle right now but its missing the power and pop that I like. I tried this paddle and really like the feel of it as I've gotten better. Only thing is that i feel it could get outdated with all the new tech coming out being that it's 2 years old.

I am testing a few other paddles right now so i haven’t been playing with it as much lately…however it is still my current go to since it has such a unique feel As for other recommendations i think some of the thinner thermoformed carbon paddles would be a decent alternative such as the 14mm Vatic Pro Something like that will give you the best of both worlds if that is a concern The new Gearbox Pro Power is also a very compelling option…but i have not gotten to test it yet and it is quite expensive

For $200 bucks, what else do you guys recommend for a high-beginner player??

I think there are a few different ways you could go based on what your playstyle is and what attributes you'd like from your paddle. Are you looking for more control or more power? And do you have a preference for the paddle shape?

@@y2washere i recently got to hit with the TKO-C 14.3 and it was really impressive! I think the TKO-CX 12.7 would be perfect for me based on that experience and the reviews on it. Hopefully I’ll be able to get my hands on them for a review soon!

@@scooterreviewsstuff Yeah it's my main paddle right now. Great paddle but it's not forgiving if you make a mistake with the drop/reset. While I could probably play more competitive with something like the Shogun or Apollo. I just feel like the TKO-C is more fun and I don't mind developing the control to go along w it.

@@y2washere sometimes the more fun paddle is worth it! Even if it means you play worse…
@y2washereАй бұрын
@@scooterreviewsstuff I wouldn't say that I'm playing worse. Just that I have to work harder to play well when it comes to the dinks/resets/drops.

@@y2washere the Vatic Pro Oni paddles came to mind for me. Some of the most fun paddles to play with, but i played objectively worse with them because they were way too poppy.
