Saint Thomas doubted even tho he was w/ Christ for his ministry & all the miracles & prophecies, so Jesus says 'us who are to have faith while not physically seeing him, are blessed,' as that is the definition of faith, it doesn't mean those who have seen him are not blessed. No matter how much proof there is, there will be those that deny it. It's clear this has 2 or 3 unexplained major conflictions with a 'physical & rational' explanation. Regardless of its authenticity, it has no relevance on the teachings of the bible, and the path of life for us to take.

Don't look for this kind of "proof", it's folly, and the evidence saying it ISN'T Jesus is far stronger (despite what a Catholic channel is gonna tell you) than the alternative. I don't think God would even allow something like this to exist due to possible idol worship tbh. Btw, Isaiah prophesied that Jesus had His beard pulled out. Nice full beard on that image...

It took the scientist three years to figure out if the image was genuine or a fake, their final conclusion was, it could be a fake. It took me only 2 min to know for sure, that it is a genuine fake. Read Deut 5:8-9. And if you believe God, you too will know it's a fake. God never backflip nor contradicts himself. It's a very old piece of rag, so no one knows exactly what kind of art materials Leonardo Da Vinci used to paint the image, It is said that a certain amount of blood was mixed with other liquids including eggs. "Only Leo knows what paint he used because it was his own recipe" 😇 The Bible says, "It's shameful for a man to wear long hair." 1 Cor 11:14 "KJV," Note. The image on the old rag has long hair. One more thing". If the image on the old rag was of Jesus Christ, then why are all of the statues and other images of Jesus have different faces? Wouldn't you think that if the image on the rag was that of Jesus, that all statues and images would resemble the same faces as the face on the rag? The rag is centuries old, So why didn't the Pagan Catholic Church make all of the forbidden statues and images of Jesus' faces look identical to the face which is on the rag? 🤗

This shroud is a seriously impressive piece of evidence to support what is written in the Gospels. I have a science background, and have been atheist for decades, but the Shroud of Turin has always been a blind spot in my atheism. One thing I don't understand is why theists try to convince people like me, who struggle to accept anything without evidence, by lecturing us to just accept the Bible on faith. Then they attack evolution, why do that? First if evolution is wrong, then all Biology has to be wrong, because Biology's foundation is based on evolution, and secondly, the proof for evolution stands up to scrutiny. And the other problem with this approach, even if evolution IS wrong, it won't bring the creation story in Genesis any closer to being true, so what's the point? So Christians come at people like me, trying to convince us all Biology is wrong because evolution is made up, and all that does is immediately get us to immediately slam down the shutters. Instead, why not use the proof the Shroud of Turin provides? It appeals to people who have a bit of a scientific mind, because even atheist and Jewish experts, and of course Christian experts too, are all stumped to explain in a rational way, how the outline of Jesus - and yes, I'm convinced it IS Jesus - got on that linen. On the record they can't go quite so far as to say the shroud is genuine and that is the outline of Christ on the cloth, but off the record they will say so. THAT is how to convince people in the science world the miracle of the crucifixion and resurrection is real, not by telling them they have to believe things without scientific support, on faith! Which brings me to why I'm posting this comment in the first place (I know, I got sidetracked and went into a bit of a rant there - sorry 'bout that), but I really want to buy a copy of the Bible in modern English; can anyone recommend the best version to go for? Thanks.

interesting!...my blood does the same thing...if i get a cut, out comes a crystal clear sparkeling fluid first...then the blood...same when i go for blood tests...it draws a crowd in the phlebotomy room...they say it's plasma..but usually needs to be run in a centrifugal machine for hours to separate the blood from the plasma..& mine is already done automatically..lol. it's also type 0-, which sometimes presents as AB-..which they say they can't explain but it sometimes happens to others as well...like my son & grand daughter.

When you think about what Jesus went through it is horrifying. Then add in the pain he felt paying for very sin ever committed. Plus, Jesus could just wish you never existed and it would happen. He didn't do that. He made the ultimate sacrifice. Then he had the ultimate victory through his resurrection. I watch videos on KZbin about Near Death Experiences and people who didn't really believe in God have found themselves in hell and cried out for Jesus to help them. In every instance Jesus comes and gets them. When you think about the power emanating from Jesus's body that emblazoned a 3d image on linen it is mind blowing. I heard an estimate that the wattage would have to in the billions to achieve some of the properties on the shroud. I have to go see the shroud before I die.

You dont read bible, the Lord was clothed with 2 cloths: 1. Body cloth 2. Face cloth this is not the cloth the lord was covered in, the cloth wasnt one complete cloth, there were 2 cloths, a face cloth was separate, bible doesnt talk about single cloth John 20v6-7...his face was covered in separate cloth, this shroud shows one cloth covering entire body? it contradicts scripture. Face cloth was separate, then remaining cloth covered body. there was no time to wrap the lords body since the Feast of the jews was at hand, lord was wrapped quickly and laid immediately at Garden tomb !!!

No, in the investigation into the shroud (which I think was released through Oxford Uni) they released a short statement that was heavily censored in which they stated the shroud was from medieval times. However, they literally had to be petitioned to release the full report which included findings of pollen samples which were attributed to being from Palestine and dated to 30-50/ A.D, they found fire damage on the shroud that was dated the same as any supposed evidence of medieval forgeries, suggesting a medieval restoration of the shroud due to fire damage. It should be noted that this investigation was led largely by NASA’s jet propulsion laboratory (I don’t know why such an entity was entrusted with researching the shroud but they were), which was founded by thelemite occultist Jack Parsons, and at the of STURP consisted of many with questionable cultist links, reasonable to assume they wanted to make the shroud look like a fake
