Love my 2016 Smart for Two Passion. Depending on temperature and humidity and overall driving habits, one can squeeze out more than the 36 combined miles per gallon. Just had my 40,000 Mi routine maintenance, over the last 10,000 Mi. The average mpg was 40.9 Mi to the gallon.

I agree with your review 100% :) the new 453 is much better than the old 451. I had a 2010 and now have a 2015 and love it. I have a panoramic roof which is great! Are you going to upgrade the wheel trims?! Would look loads better with alloys - cheers from the UK :-)

You can probably disable Traction control by removing the ABS fuse

Doesn’t work on these cars. Many forums and pulling fuses later, still can’t do it.

​@@smrtman I found this on a forum Miss Mercedes said: Wait, are you saying you discovered how to turn off esp in a 453? Fuse 7. A year ago when I had my alarm going off and I removed the fuse I discovered this... the horn stopped working, so did the traction control.

Actually the old 1,0 451 turbo version has 84 HP, and is the direct comparrison to the 0,9 453, not the 71 HP non turbo version, the old is actually a fraction faster,, providing you manage to shift right ;-) Fuel economy is different too, old is 20,4 KM/L the new is 24,4 KM/L or about 20% better economy

Yep thing is The states didn't get the 451 turbo just the normal 71 bhp and the PRND transmission but the 1.0T mitsubishi engine is much more reliable and have way more tuning capability
