Dear @@Sleeperdude I'm quite thankful too because I will also never have the opportunity to see all the great places you've been and showed your children. Your big country definitely has a lot of amazing places to offer (such as Grand Canyon etc.). Of course I originally came here only because of the automotive content. But meanwhile your epic family road trips are my favourite videos. I love to watch long vids and I'm really amazed and impressed by almost all of the things/places you show us viewers. Thanks again. 👍👌👏 Best regards, luck and health in particular. To all of you of course.

Friends of mine have in their possession (unless it was sold since I saw it many moons ago) a podium Lincoln gave I think the Farwell Address from. When he was going to give the speech, the hotel he was staying at didn't have one. My friends ancestors had a furniture shop across the street from the hotel. Someone ran over asked if they could barrow it for the speech and would bring it back when finished. If I remember correctly, it was obviously passed down generation to generation kept in great condition. The only reason at the time of me seeing it as a child in the 90s, they still had it was museums who contacted them wanted it to be donated to them. Even back then I'm with them and would want some $$ for what I had.

I don't know if you are allowed to video there, I was there when I was a kid and witnessed the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown. It is a powerful and emotional thing to watch, I remember getting the chills as a 10 year old, I didn't truly understand the significance of it until I was older. I truly believe that every citizen should go to Arlington, it is such a sacred and hallowed area you are overwhelmed with all kinds of emotion but there is also a lot of history there. I'm almost 78 and am NOT ashamed to tell folks I ALWAYS get emotional when I hear our National Anthem. I imagine Francis Scott Key looking out there in the dawns early light following an all night shelling of Fort McHenry and seeing our tattered Flag STILL STANDING. Our ForeFathers and Mothers fought and died for America's Freedoms way back in the 1700's and America's soldiers fight and die for America's Freedoms to this day. GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS all who aren't afraid to cry when we hear America's National Anthem. Those words are magnificent.
