Question, when using this, does it record in 16bit or 24bit?

This mic will do both. I usually just keep my camera on 24 bit if the camera offers it. Sounds really nice.

I use the Sony a7siii. That gives me 24 bit option. Nothing wrong with 16 bit. You should be able to get great audio quality out of that too.

I’m waiting for the secrets for the best quality, but there’s none… It’s just a review about the patterns…

S-sounds are very sharp and hissy. And the bass bottom is missing. Sounds cheap and digital. Concept is brilliant though so a pity with the sound quality. It’s not just this review - I’ve seen several and they all have the same sharp sound from that microphone.
