iPhones have better and crispier video quality but if u have iPhone 15 pro then u can shoot in pro res log witch gives better video quality than any compact vlogging camera under 1.5kUSD

Truth be told, I have bought this camera and sold it...(And now considering buying it again), 3 times within the last year. I love the 4K video, the photo at 50mm, the size and portability, and for me the high frame rate burst shooting...which keeps drawing me back. I don't like the lens distortion at less than 50 mm in photos, the low light/night time photos, it is/was still upwards of $450 used, and I really wanted better handheld video stabilization, (still needed a gimbal for ealking around video shooting). Still, I'm back looking at this thing again though!

People keep saying that the Sony ZVE10 is a better investment which is understandable because the interchangeable lens and has made me reconsider my choice. What do you use to edit and add subtitles? I have one soft box lighting pointing towards the side of my wall, and one key light directly in front of me behind my camera! Lighting makes a big difference :)

Ive seen people do that and they love the osmo. The thing to keep in mind is that the zv1 can become a nice camera for stills, for that casual point and shoot photos. The osmo is more video focused. Its all about what you pretend to do with it.

I see your choice for instant and ease of vlog. Despite being bigger, I personally prefer my ZV1 on a gimbal to the Osmo 3 because 1) the lens on ZV1 is bigger and versatile, and 2) I can dial on my settings like picture profiles to my liking.

I have the Sony and I just got the osmo pocket 3 yesterday. I love my Sony but the stabilisation is TERRIBLE! I will keep mine because it’s a wonderful camera but the osmo would be much better for vlogging when out and about. Can’t wait to test it 😊

I have this camera and love it but one thing that I do not like is that it overheats mid way of me recording and I have to let it cool then resume which is inconvenient. Other than that I love this camera.

I think that's my biggest issue too when recording in 4k, even after enabling that high heat tolerance option, it still overheats.

no its not good in 2024... any iPhone have better video quality and sharper image quality and better battery and brighter bigger screen.... and if u record in pro res log u can't buy a camera that's around 1.5kUSD and have better video quality for vlogging than iPhone
