I’ve been buying Spyderco knives for the past twenty years. I started with the Police, and then the Harpy. I’ve owned about a dozen, and no other knife has ever come close to their quality and design. Unfortunately,over the years, I lost, had stolen, and sold almost all of them. I recently got back into collecting, with the PM2, and the Cricket. The Cricket is very underrated IMO; I used it as my EDC for about five years. I’m looking to expand my collection of Spydercos, and other top tier blades, so keep reviewing them. You’ve got a good channel going, and I’m surprised you don’t have more subs. Good work man.

That’s awesome, thank you for sharing about your journey with knives. I find this stuff fascinating! I also appreciate the feedback about the Channel! It really means a lot to me. I’ve seen the Cricket here and there but haven’t really had an opportunity to pick one up so maybe I’ll look into it sometime into the near future. Thank you for your comment! 🤝🏼

I have the Para 2 in Cruwear steel with after market micarta scales and I love it! It is one of my favorite EDC knives.. That and the Shaman, I love both of them. Thanks for the video. I very much enjoyed watching it!

Sure is indeed! I love mine so much and I can’t imagine how I didn’t like them at some point, now that I have a few SpydercoKnives, they’re some of my favorites. Thank you for sharing your feedback!

From Italy here. This knife is in every collection of people I know, I have 2 myself, problem overseas is.... a PM2 is 257,99 € = 286,85 USD. AND it's still worth it. if it was 170 USD I'd have like... 10 of these.

Oh wow, thank you for sharing that. Such a good thing to have perspective that we don't always have it as bad as we think. I will say that from the time I made this video to now, these as well as most spyderco knives now cost like 10-20 more dollars.

@@MiguelEDC Yes, the USA productions here are quite expensive. You guys in the US use knives much more, and you generally have way much knowledge about steels. Those price tags here are the same for all USA made knives. Yet, I want it made in USA if it's going in my pocket👍

At this time, I only have a few Spyderco knives. A stainless Delica 4 I've been carrying for the last 10 years, a Tenacious I got to replace the Delica for daily use, a Manix 2, Tasmin Salt 2, PM 2, and a couple stainless Byrd models. They all take a little getting used to, but so far, the PM2 is my least favorite. I don't do any fancy "flicking", just use my thumb, and the locking lever on the back pinches my hand when I do. The Manix 2 is currently my fav, so I had to drop some Flytanium upgrades in it, and is now my official barbecue knife, Lol.

Lightweight version with frn 🤔
@MiguelEDC Жыл бұрын
A very valid choice for those who like frn and want to save some money. I personally would take g10 over frn pretty much every time.

It corrodes easy I boiled my blade in apple cider vinegar lol looks like smoke now on the gray grip it looks great . Soon as my para 3 started to spot I took care of it . The m4 steel corrodes also . I’m in a humid area . I’m getting the new salt all black version of the pm2 next and this new steel it has is the New King .

Like the pm2 a lot. Prob my fav. Manix 2 and shaman real cool too. Im at the point i have too many knives lol. Mainly hae apyderco and they dont get very hard use and thankfully havnt lost any. Now looking into flash liights and other edc carry. If you havnt got a spyderco knife, there ar3 knives then there is spydercos. There are lots of good brands out there. I would say they are the glock of the knife world but yeah kind a the standard

Waiting for my PM2, used, pink G10 scales to arrive. I've owned a PM2 before, but lost it in the apple river in Wisconsin. Been about 5 years, so I wanted to buy another. I'm going to customize this one with cool scales and some other goodies. Good video Miguel!
@patrickbledsoe21763 ай бұрын
on etsy a shop called DNA Lasering has some really cool Spydie scales. I've got alot from him and everything has been awesome and he is a American shop. so that's cool also

a compression lock isn't a liner lock on the back of a knife... they work differently. actually a comp lock is closer to the ball lock or axis than a liner lock: same principle.
@andrewbertubin76346 ай бұрын
Why did you describe the pm2 as infamous?
@bobroberts28284 ай бұрын
I think that the video poster thinks infamous means something that it doesn't mean.
