As much as I love my pricy Benchmades, I keep coming back to it. The PM2 is simply one of the GOATs. Thanks for the vid.

Couldn't agree more. Me and my dad used to argue about it, I couldn't understand why he liked spyderco so much, but once I got my pm2 to give it a shot, it's been my go-to ever since. So ergonomic and slicey, and the action and lock are fantastic. Even the steel is done perfectly for me, I really don't have a single complaint with it
@RxCGaming2 жыл бұрын
@@chimchu3232 I think the only one complaint I have with the PM2 is it’s tip strength, but I guess it’s not made for heavy duty work. Which is why I have two knives for two different purposes. Being a "casual interest" knife guy myself...I woul recommend to any one completely new ....if considering Spydero to by the PM2 as their first Spyderco. As the PM2 is THE KNIFE that embodies Sypderco's design philosophy and the knife people who (know a little or "a lot") think of when you say "Spyderco". Just as the 940 is the knife you think of when someone mentions Benchmade...then go from there.... Or to get one's feet wet...Delica 4. In case the newb after getting his Delica 4 the next day tosses it in the drawer....the investment won't hurt so much. "I spent thIS MUCH on a folding knife???"... I think at the end of the day they are 'fidget toys"....there are better purpose built knives for every task e.g. cooking, hunting and combat (military or "knife fighters"). ...or opening boxes LOL11 :)

Have you thought about making belt holsters for folding knives? I have a manix 2 and aside from the rounded back end that slips out of my hand as I pull back on the the lock tabs, the clip, in my opinion, is the worst part. So I just carry mine at the bottom of my pocket without the clip. So I was just wondering if that would be a possibility.
@5MinuteKnives2 жыл бұрын
Ahhh... I have that same issue! Only I need the clip to lock onto when my hand slips, so without it, that lock sucks for me too. I have made neck sheaths for like, delicas and enduras. Lighter weight stuff is best and that frn you wouldn't mind scratching. In your case, possibly but it would be clunky (unless you used like a strap or something) and making sheaths for folding knives with clips just seems... impractical to me. 🤣 Thanks for the question and bringing up some good points on the M2. 👍

Manix 2 is way better,I don’t get the hype around the PM2.
@frogturtle2 жыл бұрын
The answer is...it’s hard to answer lol. This debate has been going back and forth for years. Theoretically the Manix 2 is the tougher knife but both are very tough, and some people appreciate the blade shape and feel of the PM2 over the Manix 2 (and vice versa.) I’d recommend watching some comparison videos and reading some popular forums to help you decide. Both are similarly great knives but edge each other out in some scenarios (no pun intended.) Or if you’re loaded just buy both and carry them on alternating days. Good luck!
