Yes!! I definitely wish there was a Subaru Ascent Wilderness!! Subaru, please get on that because I want one! And I’m not the only one. I’ve seen multiple car testers on KZbin say the Ascent needs the Wilderness package. 😉😊💕

I’d love to have one as well but the Ascent is a family car with some offroad capabilities. They will never wilderness it

if they sent the demo rigs with decent tires they'd have to be fishing them out of who knows where because people would be able to get themselves into way too much trouble lol and everyone throws away the factory tires anyhow, because, this exact reason. What I found out with our '14 FXT was that since so many people immediately swap out the tires *and* the wheels, I was able to get a factory set of wheels (wife liked the pattern on the original ones, so we got another set) for super cheap and in perfect shape. Now we keep Nokian Hakkapeliitta SUV (has kevlar sidewalls and amazing ice compound) on one set for when it's under 42°F most of the time and some Atturo AZ850 for when it's above 48°F most of the time and they both do fair enough in their crossover zone - the Nokians get super squishy over 70°F so you can tell if you are putting off swapping tires for too long lol but the Atturos actually do pretty good in winter, but can't do ice like the Nokian studless designs do. Subaru is always nice enough to leave you a little room in the wheelwells to clear the lugs of more aggressive skins.

It’s not really a concern, Subaru has one of the better cvts on the market. It’s a little whiney on a cold start up but other than that I haven’t had any issues and I’ve had 2.

I was concerned too. But I love it. I bought extended warranty on drivetrain for peace of mind.

⁠@@chiluco2000They are mistaken here. You can get a base onyx with the tech package at around 44k and that includes a 360 camera

​@@traingunnerexactly what I did! Came in at $43k. Only thing I actually miss from the limited is the premium sound system but I can easily upgrade that for about $500.

@@luisfelipemercado7444 I think the stock Audi is pretty good as is. I mean for a family car it’s great. I seldomly drive this by my self so the music isn’t really loud. Just more like playing in the background.
