Todoroki was buffed in the latest My Hero Ultra Rumble patch so today we’re checking him out. He received 2 beta charges to use which helps give him more protection and damage potential. While I like the change I do hope they tweak his special action at some point because the way it is now I still see it as a joke. Maybe they should change his special action so that if someone gets hit by it or steps in it they leave a small trail of fire behind them. allowing you to loosely track them on top of the chip damage it will do to them

By the way, did you know that Shoto's Gamma has a special characteristic? This is something that's always been a part of it, but I've never seen anyone mention it or take advantage of it: The very end of the ice trail has a sharp peaking sweet spot. If you manage to launch the Gamma and hit an enemy with the end of it, you won't freeze them, but you'll do massive damage and launch them with a knockback. It's like having a skillshot variant of his Beta built into the Gamma, as I recall the damage actually being similar at around 200. I don't know if you've ever heard of it or used it, but I can imagine being a decisive finisher against people healing and unaware. Edit: I don't know if it was tweaked at some point (I don't play Shoto anymore) but it does 100 damage at level 1 and 160 damage at level 9.

If you use it on an enemy who's against a wall at level 9 at the right spacing, you can get the sweetspot combined with one normal hit (160+40 for 200) or if you get slightly closer, it can get all three normal hits PLUS the sweetspot for a whopping 280 damage.

He fells so much better with 2 ice walls it is insane. All he needs is a real special action and he is set. After buff my fav team is strike family (shoto, dabi, and endv). If they just make his special action lock so you can place it on someone when they are down every time it prob be good enough because you can do safe downs during fights ( of course the special action full tick would have to do 400 total idk if it even does that atm.

Todoroki was my tryhard character for a while. I only just recently started using him again and he STILL feels so unbelievably easy to dominate as.. So him getting such a massive buff is almost making me wanna be a half todoroki main again. (Especially since my main Toga is in like every other party so it's annoying tryna play her sometimes. Honestly makes me glad she got nerfed so maybe just maybe less people will play her)
