IS THE TORP TC500 WORTH IT? - RANGE TEST

It seems like Torp is way better technology than all of the other controllers. Just the fact they are able to cram all of it into such a small/sleek package. I'm in the process of building out my surron and I've bought everything except powertrain stuff.....no battery, motor or controller yet. So I'm watching tons of videos to get familiar. I've become a big fan of Charged Cycle Works, they put out some really top notch info. The EBMX stuff does seem to be pretty damn good quality and the guy who builds their batteries seems like a mad genius. I hate when I get stuck with all the choices and can't decide which way to go. I'm a new Surron rider and I'm not too concerned with super high speed or much more power...if anything, I would like to get maximum range. I also learned that Torp designed the Sortion motor. If I paired this TCP500 with a new battery I'm guessing I'd be a happy clam. Is there a battery you could recommend? I really want the best designed, most quality made product, not necessarily the best performing. Thanks for the video and if you happen to read this would love to know what you think!

Hi mate, got a road legal stock Surron myself and was thinking of getting one of these. You mentioned the top speed being higher, what kind of speeds are you getting to now? Rate the videos too bro you were one of the creators who convinced me to get one of these 😁

Ahh man that awesome!! Yea my top speed is around 52mph now when I adjust the field weakening. I tend to keep that setting low tho so I’m not draining battery too quick and also there’s not many places that I can hit 52mph. Thanks for your comment bro. Ride safe 👊

Top speed I get 56mph. I could push it further by adjusting the field weakening but to be honest 56 is fast enough for me!

recently got mine torp, not yet installed and sadly my 38,5amp battery do not support 8,5kw but I got really high hopes about it, future battery for it will be 60/60 or 72/50 time will tell :)

100% still plenty fast enough with 38ah. It’s a game changer for torque and throttle tho!!

i just got mine directly from torp from the uk and it cost 840 including import tax and websites have it for 950 craxy lol

me to but i got he new colour screen aswell all in for the controller and screen 990 euros then got hit for £175 import tax fuckin leeches but im well happy with the upgrades
