Is the Van’s RV-10 the best in its class?

I had the awesome opportunity of flying the Van's RV-10 that my friend Vlad built.
This is a short review about the RV-10, with some relevant information such as speeds, dimensions, specs and other curiosities.

Great video of the -10. I fly the the RV-10 and I am extremely happy with it's performance. Vans are very easy to fly, literally anyone can fly them. There is an option of ER tanks for 83 Gallons vs the Standard 60. My plane is FAT 1720 empty with AC, built in Oxygen and a nice interior. The most important thing to me was the cost of ownership, all Vans are(especially if you are the builder) are very affordable to maintain. Thanks for sharing the long video. The guy did a great job building his own avionics, very impressive!

@@FlyWithPedro I am in Colorado. We have around 5 RV-10s just in our airport, and I know of more in Colorado at other airports. Each one is built a little different. I enjoy the AC and use Oxygen mostly to catch tail winds east or to cross the Rockies west.

When you say “empty weight” are you saying full or empty of fuel? Because 60 gallons of fuel is nearly 500# of weight. Leaving 600# for passengers and luggage.
