Love my Banshee 300 Josh. I used mine 4 days every week for approx 6months when i was on a contract near Worksop a few years back.. Got fed up staying away from home in crappy hotels. So i thought sod it, i’m taking my tent. Did me proud in all weathers. Also put up a tarp sometimes to create a seating area when i needed. Keeps the warmth really well given the low down space. Cracking tent !

I think the short answer is yes. For the money you get a lot of tent.

Great review Josh, my first wild camping tent was the Vango Banshee 200. Still love using it now, but like the 300 it doesn't have any headroom, and being nearly 6,2 it's a struggle if you're trying to get changed.

I look for weight, price, headroom, strength. I also want it to have a small footprint for pitching in tight spots wildcamping. A groundsheet protector is useful because it stops the abrasion of the floor when camping every week. A 1½ person tent, the Terra Nova Pioneer is what I mostly use. I like it but 2 of its 3 pockets are useless.

What sells a tent to me: Durability, weight, price. If my head hits the inner is not a biggy for me as i would be laying down in the tent 99% of the time, im 6'2". Cheers Josh, this one's to big for me but seems like a nice tent.

@Martycycleman thanks for watching. See I know alot of people where height is an issue.like me. I think having the headroom in a tent is nice. Thanks mate

looks a cracking tent , I love vango as a brand and was always my go to company when we were family camping/clamping so reliable , I definitely think head room is a must really especially if you get confined to your tent for long periods of time , as im just starting out on my wild camping journey I bought the oex jackal 3 , really roomy tent and as I got it for £79 brand new it was great for my son and I, but headroom is a bit of an issue , but for starting out I can't complain

@stuarthatton1973 cheers for the comment. Yeah I agree headroom is a must especially for long winter nights in the tent. I seen the jackal in go outdoors looks brilliant 👏

@JoshTyldesley yeah it is decent , but there was a lot of condensation in the morning, I may have missed a vent or 2 not sure , but it was my first time in it , will have to see how it fares when I get on a wild camp

Great review Josh... Space, Weight & Price are all key factors for me...💯 I'm TenTentsKev now, so I'm not buying anymore...!😄 Actually it's probably more than that now but let's just call it 10...!🤫🤣 Head room is the 1st must for me, 2nd is an adequate/safe vestibule space to cook in wet/windy/cold weather & was ironic that the rain came down on ya...!😄 Good for the video....✔️ Bet U wished U'd taken more kit & scran so could've stayed abit longer...👍
