I want to get this for my mom to walk, but I'm worried the extended handrails that don't exist here will be tough for her. Do you think if she's walking slowly she can use the top rail? It looks like a separate walking pad handrail is sold, but it probably doesn't fit the width of the X25.

Yes, with the added thickness, I highly recommend this. This model feels more secure than the X21.
