I think this years playoffs has the absolute best matchups you could possibly want in the 1st round, especially if Miami ends up playing Boston. I mean, LA v Denver, Clippers v Mavs, Wolves v Suns, Bucks v Pacers, 76ers v Knicks... the storylines are all great, despite the fact that so many stars are injured--Giannis, Jimmy Butler, Zion, Embiid isn't 100%. Its going to be a wild year.

Green is both under contract and had career high 3p% shooting. He complements steph too well, honestly as long as #30 + DG together + a solid core = competitive

They should have traded him the moment he started giving KD sh^t, failing that, as soon as he threw that punch, he should have been out the door. In many ways a great player over his career, but in 2024 he is a great big minus for the Warriors

It's not that Embiid "gets knocked around a lot" or more than any other player his position/size, it's that he FALLS a lot, partly due to flopping to draw fouls, partly due to awkwardness, and partly the way he plays. If there are such stats kept, Embiid must leads the NBA in falls per game or possession. It's literally if he doesn't fall, that's the exception.

That #2 pick was a potential lifeline extension for the Warriors, and I'm pretty sure that either Marcus Smart or Jaylen Brown were possible trades back when they had the #2 pick and whiffed on Wiseman. I had a feeling that it was bad pick when he couldn't stop crying after getting drafted, plus I wanted them to take Okongwu (or even better trade back for him), or trade the pick for a veteran player, either way it would've probably kept them relevant today. Most Warriors fans wanted them to take Wiseman simply cuz the Warrior have rarely had a dominant big man, and I think management caved on some of that rhetoric.

Agreed they never should've made that pick even at the time I said that. I know Beal was for sure available Brown would've been tougher because Ainge always wants a steal but they had plenty of options. That set them back by not cashing in on a premiere pick.

The thing in the Mavs vs Clippers series is who is stopping Luka in the post. He’s much stronger than anyone the Clippers can throw on him and Ty Lue has a stubborn history of double teaming Luka every single time he is in the post no matter who is guarding him. You can’t do that anymore with Kyrie being one pass away.
