If you can't beat them? Stuff a 392 6.4L V8 in the engine bay, then sit back and watch it print money. Reliability and fuel efficiency...? Who cares, our customer base is loyal and doesn't mind spending money on gas and car repairs when stuff breaks (and it will because it's an FCA/Stellaris product). If you want a car that won't break... go to the nearest Toyota dealership instead.

I drove the Rubicon trail twice with an eight wheel drive Argo. The Jeeps had to stay on the trail so when two would meet up going opposite directions one or the other often had to back up to a place where they could pass. With my Argo I would just spin 90 degrees to the side and go up the rock on the side. I can hang there while the other vehicle goes by. I did this once when they were doing the big Jeep Rubicon Trail event. Instead of having to wait for all of them, I just went out into the lake and boated around them. If there is a big log in the way, they have are stuck, I could just go over it as I had no drive shaft or differentials to worry about. They are great for cars that can go off the road but they are not that great for off roading when compared to something made to do off road.

I own a Jeep and enjoy driving it . This video does say a few things on Jeeps part . 40 years to think about putting a v8 back . Unlike now, you could afford to buy a jeep with this option back then . it's a concept . With the emphasis of concept I wonder if this will ever be a production model . Even so only someone shelling out $67-$76 K will be able to own one . Who is shelling out $900 a month for 7 years to own one ???? Now as for the video and the information . Its great !! Raiti did a great job showing the features and all the concept Jeep will have to offer if/when released to the public !!

They didn’t “start listening” to the letters being sent it, it’s been YEAAARRSS! Ford came along and seen how complacent Jeep became and put some fire up Jeep’s ass with the Bronco’s return. Thus Forcing Jeep to shove the V8 in the Wrangler hoping it redirects the attention away from the Bronco.

It took years from the TRX concept to the truck at the dealerships. How long will this take? Bronco launch? Will they move the mirrors to the frame and off the doors?
@Thedogfather_194 жыл бұрын
This thing is way too pricey and the technology is miles behind the bronco. The most expensive ford bronco is like 10-15k cheaper than the rubicon imagine how much this is going to cost. Secondly this 392 went so unnoticed when it was first realized everyone was taking about the bronco and i still don’t see too many people taking about this but I do see the trx being a big hit. Lastly this 392 only exists because of the bronco coming back.
@aommo88324 жыл бұрын
Bryan Reyes A lot of people including my self ,don’t give a shit about the “new technology “ doesn’t matter to me, That shit is gonna cost a fortune to fix to , Atleast FCA keeps there cars, with V8 power and just out of the box cool shit . Ford screwed up with the bronco by putting a lousy V6

@@Thedogfather_19 yes and ford stands for found on road dead. Ford has lots of issues with ecoboost engines so I wouldn’t say one company is any more or less reliable. Also excluding the 392, bronco is more expensive than wrangler when you look at each trim. Not sure where you see rubicon is 15k more? Unless you’re looking at diesel rubicon which ford doesn’t have so that’s not a valid comparison.

That is the million dollar question!

Jeep desperately needs to do some tour of the box for the upcoming model year because there is no doubt they will lose sales to the Bronco; the Bronco will be the first, true competition the wrangler has faced; so if not the 392, some other v-8 in its parts bin. My concern is that the cost of the addition of the 392 will be so high it really won’t help keep sales. I have a 2019 rubicon (my second Wrangler) and I love it be I admit that when the lease is over next year, I’ll definitely look at the Bronco and I’m a loyal Dodge/Jeep fan. I have a Charger Scatpack too

At first I thought jeep was done once the bronco was announced. I just saw the new configurator for the Bronco and to get a decent one it can get very expensive when compared to a jeep.
