I pair the Baby Goat with a SK Bitsy Flip jig and cast it out there. I use the Baby Foat as my bottom craw bait more than as a bluegill imitator. Having said that, I did make sure I got it in The Deal color so I can hop it and have it imitate a bluegill too! It's so versatile and a great cold water bait.

Hey Miles thanks for the video I find myself coming back to z man because I don't have the money I use to and the baits are ridiculously durable and they just catch fish period. Gonna love this series. Zman baits are phenomenal. …. Yes. Yes, the GOAT is the best all around. I rig them horizontal and vertical on any single hook bait. I’ve used them for NED, swim jig, buzzbait, spinnerbait, flipping, swimbait hooks, flipping jigs, drop shot, Texas rig. … I’ll cut the Billy goat down into a chunk style trailer. I have a cut down pearl Billy goat that I’ve had for two years now. …. The only thing zman needs to do is offer the GOAT in their pbj color.

The baby goat on the 1/4oz willow vibes jig head has been such a staple in my fishing since I came across them few years back.... such a deadly setup for the smallies in the waters I fish

Well I just hope that no one around here watches your video when you talk about the Goat Toad. LOL I have been using them for couple years now and dont want anyone to know about them. I have had days where I catch so many fish my arms get tired. I cant begin to say how much I love those things. I just picked up some Goats and cant wait to try them out this season.

I have fished the Z-man 3 inch GOAT, and its a SCAPE GOAT. Never caught anything: as a trailer jig, as a beaver, 😢😢😢😢as drop shot, as swimbait. Totally un-versatile. 😓😓😓😓😤😤😤😳😳😢😢😢🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

Honestly I wouldn’t fish a jerkbait much from the shore personally, but if I was I would fish a very shallow diving one like the Vision 110 Jr.
