this man makes me laugh at my former stupid ways as a former christian i lost my faith when i got sick and almost died before my brain inflamation i was one of those that parroted to others that god had a plan actually creation does have a plan cos being an avid reader i couldnt read cos of my medsthat make me woozy so i turned to you tube and met sadhguru via my lap top watchin lots of his videos i have finally forgiven my self for believing in my parents and cultural philosophies that didnt work ever for me. thank you sadhguru for what you are doing via such videos
@bhairavenelaitambi8737 жыл бұрын
Your Cultural society and your parents both had a good point & missed a point simultaneously. The good point is Christianity is A way back to Almighty but the missed point is it's not THE only way back. If one follows his/her religion joyously seeing himself/herself in everyone then your religion is sufficient though a religion is optional to all. When a Hindu hugs a non Hindu, his notion is Live and Let Live meaning one must be given the freedom to live and work to his or her Liberation.

He does speak on Jesus. Rarely but with a ton of reverence...it's quite beautiful. He does the same with other famous saints..like yogananda. rare but he does.

@amitp2 sir please calm down. He simply said the mankind is a mess right now. "If man disappears from this planet then everything is perfect", he said. That is simply to say the problem is not with Earth, but mankind. So this is why he is doing what he can to HELP FIX IT, make no mistake this man is a million times more enthusiastic about human life and being human than anyone else!

Kick ass answer...;)

I will say this: the man who Sadhguru predicts will become so powerful that he will not let anyone live will be the one who denies everything in his life to reach this one goal. Many deny many joys in their life to accomplish some things but only a handful will have the will to deny everything and risk everything to become the first mortal God in recent history.

I never preached about lack of evidence, someone else brought up the topic. But even if I did go around doing that, I certainly still would be less of a nutjob than someone that believes in spirituality haha. And I couldn't care in the slightest how your day is, and the feeling is no doubt mutual, so don't say it to make your argument look better.

@aDislikeBot This language usually pops up when the speaker is lost for words. And this kind of hate comes up due to realization that something is lacking within oneself. Or probably thats due to the kind of people around you when you were growing up.

there is an OVERALL plan, however, we as humans do have the ability to change. Most of the suffering on this planet is self-brought on because we are at an extremely low level of consciousness. God gave us free-will. we can create this planet to be a paradise or a living hell. the reason why there is suffering is because God is trying to wake us up, but very few really listen.

@pegasus67246 жыл бұрын
yes there is a divine plan and the reason there is a divine plan is because of this when God was self creating God had to learn from all aspects of himself including Darkness God created Darkness God was born love and light but created Darkness and fruit Darkness better understood himself he created a polarity between Darkness and light and God better appreciated his light the same with us we are God's children we are created as angels in heaven and we incarnate on to the Earth in two physical bodies where we have to learn the same polarity between Darkness and light we cannot do this in heaven because god does not want Darkness in heaven so we had to come to the earth to learn from Darkness so there is a divine plan so all of our lives are government controlled by God and the angels for a higher learning it is all in preparation for eternal life in heaven in happiness

My only real point was that if you believe in science so confidently, you must not understand the fact that you're just assuming what someone else is saying is true!!! That's it! Everything else was just a response to you taking what I've said out of context!
@amitp212 жыл бұрын
@aDislikeBot How did my statement become the "dumbest" statement unless you have an equally staunch perspective of global warming? So, if you think about it, whether global warming is a truth or a boogie man depends on the "facts" that one knows. Please see the video from Royal Society of London scientists for the facts that I know & believe v=hpWa7VW-OME
@CzechRiot10 жыл бұрын
too many words... too many words with too bland meanings in our society. we take words for granted without even know what it means. What is the meaning of "perfect"? The origin of the word means something that is finished, done. Then it probably evolved, meaning you keep doing whatever until you reach a specific result. Once you have the aimed result, then it is perfect. But now perfection is somewhat a synonym with bliss. "Perfection" is now a lack of suffering, utopia, paradise.

and of course culture has belief system, even if that happens to be disbelief. still rooted in uncertainty, still a projection of your imagination-despite of how "intellectual" it makes you feel. we won't agree on the ancient sciences. you have your beleif and i have my experiences. changing your mind is of no real existential value, not to say i could even do it but why try ya know?
@aDislikeBot12 жыл бұрын
@amitp2 Your beliefs are based on that promotional biased video that censors all types of feedback? You need to research it alot more. Why is it that you don't want to believe it?
@hypothetically133712 жыл бұрын
There you go assuming again... We're not doing battle with you, we're just trying to help you understand something all the while you're trying to make it difficult. I never said that I "refuse" to believe anything.. I have my own belief systems just like everybody else. I was just pointing out how accepting so called, "scientific truths" are just assuming in someone else or in you. Which of course would have contradicted your previous point. So relax your tensions mate

it is called samsara, the world of illusion in which there is suffering. It's this illusion which you should overcome by Yoga, so i have no idea what Sadhguru is actually trying to achieve with this talk, other than affirming the illusion of sorrow and the illusion of duality. Those other mystics he talks about understood, and he is just putting them down.
@hypothetically133712 жыл бұрын
WHAT?????? I have addressed every freaking word you've UNINTELLIGIBLY written!! The fact that you couldn't specify which point of yours I've "avoided" means you're out of ammo and have resorted to a desperate, unclear point that I cannot argue. So let me clarify...

@IIHOGZBREATHII And to have conversation with me requires intelligence and may I add "some courage" as well. Hiding by not replying!!! A true liberal environmentalist. And about Sadguru...If you didn't hear it correctly, play the video again. Doesn't he say that life cannot be perfect unless man (or mankind) disappears from earth? Why does he say so? And yes, it requires an open mind and objective thinking. Not thinking that comes by twisting words. Try looking into yourself first.
@hypothetically133712 жыл бұрын
Accepting "scientific" truths are just assuming what someone else said is true(unless of course you worked through the scientific method yourself, which would be your experience). That is quite child like. AND he/she never said they believe in the analogous "high priest" which you have accused them of, you mistook the context. Way to go biggmoneyme

I havn't contradicted myself at all. Science is used to determine the truth, without bias, thats why me and most of the population, and even you, choose to believe it. But you choosing to create more believes based off your own delusionals is in no way similar, mate.
@aDislikeBot12 жыл бұрын
I don't accept the truth limited to just what i've experienced, I accept scientific truths. And you seem to by implying that you have delusions, which can also be easily explained by science.

Why create a world like this by the most powerful of it all?. So much chaos even in the thinking, intellectual, spiritual worlds. Create like this & say, YES, we can get out of all of our sufferings thru this & that, say, Yoga, Meditation etc... Do not make sense to me at all. If there is a GOD, IT ought to have created a perfect world for all creations at all levels. Doesn't seem to be the case. So, your answers are not convincing, SadhGuru. MeenaC

The simple fact that we can choose makes our responsibility to be responsible for any and all that occurs on this Great planet!!! We are not up to that task as you might think. At least not at this moment in our history. Does this mean we can't be individually content with life and be bliss or, as you say, find enlightenment? Of course we can. But again, that's the smaller picture in scope of the larger scene. Every day we choose to deplete this planet of beautiful organism-that includes trees.
