Some people think he is insulting his audience ..but Duty of guru is to put you on right path without worrying about your feelings , people who try to just nice with you and not tell you truth are not adding single bit to your life except feeding niceness to your false ego.. If you really want improve yourself in any area , you need to work with people who are honest with u all the time and just false ego feeding people

Amazing.. How cleverly he answered.. Even if he tells the answer we can only belief on him , we cannot perceive.. And and when we belief we stop seeking.. So he dont want us to belief but to seek and experience in our own way.. Then only we can know the reality.

This man is truly an amazing spectacle of where we can all be. It's a shame that the western world ignores this eastern mindset, but to combine them is to unify the two opposites, which is a universal principle on all scales; yin and yang.

The answer to the questions asked is clear and concise: It is each persons Over-self or true-self which is in a very high dimension controls life before birth or after death. And down here each person incarnates as an extension of his or her over-self in order to have some required pre-planned experiences in order to evolve.

But this wonderful man hardly seems dead ... maybe his reason for doing is to help others since what other goals would he have but to share it. I wonder if he is channeling Osho his cadence and prononciation seems so similar and so familiar. I love Osho and felt I did not know or have any opinion about his strange ways, I thought it was just my lack of understanding and my presence of trust of his deeper value. He was so clear.

A drop in the ocean is of same quality as the ocean but can it itself become the ocean ? perhaps we are all trying to become the ocean. It all boils down this. We only want happiness and almost perfect state or atleast favourable state of circumstances most of the time. The way the world is organized almost denies that to anybody. Hence misery is at the basis of all struggle and thats all it is. Life feeds us far more hardship and pain than pure pleasure most of times. But our struggle is always permanent state of happiness which is impossible [ given nature of temporariness in everything ]. perhaps that state of permanent happiness is beyond the physical ....?

When you live in a world you don't understand and you are too small to understand it all than you just live not asking questions and use false assumptions to make living easier and to not need to answer hard questions... religions are a way to find such hard ground and stability because when you question "universal" truths you breake your hard groudn under your feet and than if you aren't strong enough to still search you are volnurable and put feets on first next little better hard ground.

Satguru simply says is you have to figure it out most of the things yourself. Even the outer world how much ever someone explain such as tasting sugar, flying in a plane unless you experience you will never know actually what it is. This might apply to the inner world too. There might be many ways/methods of knowing what that is when it comes to spirituality or beyond physical. Also it might be foolish to think that "really" enlightened people also have answers to all problems / questions.

In all world religions , existence of god is based on faith. So, god has given you free will and intellect to search for truth in your own way. If your faith is superior to others ,follow and don't ever condemn others. In this aspect of reasoning, even atheists should also be respected. Hindu vedic knowledge and philosophy has been there for thousands of years and only few were able to attain enlightenment . Don't you know the power of zero? Without zero, highest values can not be expressed in number theory. If you have a better explanation ,pl. register for the benefit of mankind. and don't ever demean others. This is the true nature of 'truth".

The universe is governed and haunted by emptiness, that's the truth. Nothing is real, just our physical bodies and the physical existence. A problem is that the world teaches you to always be seeking for something, it makes us feel unfulfilled. The only way to feel fulfilled is to give up our participation in the world as a human being that identifies himself with all the drama.

I take truth to mean the actual answer. So if you know what happens after death and how/why the universe or you exists then you probably don't have to search for a truth. So long as you have questions i think there have to be truths/answers. To me religion failed to answer any questions at all and seemed more like parents saying the universe is the way it is because we said so. So i have chosen to do what he says and not assume anything but instead gather data and find out.

With respect to guruji, this is not the answer expected for the question asked. From your words, there is a cycle of rebirth. To avoid rebirth and to attain samathi, you asked know ourself through meditation which is what the yogi's doing, which means there is something controlling our life after our death and before our rebirth even after birth. Is it us or God? who is controlling. How the womb is selected for rebirth, is it chosed?. If we are all part of God what pulled us as an earthly being.

For those who want an answer for this question which sadguru never replied, read a book named "Beyond birth and death" by Srila Prabhupada of ISKCON. You'll know more than what you learnt from this video. By the way, I love sadguru videos and thoughts, but not anyone who is "beating around the bush" to evade and confuse a real seeker!

+Naghi Astnei, +Terra Gibbia .. Sorry, if I have sounded rude with my comments, never wished I should sound like that but I have wandered enough seeking for knowledge from various Gurus and spiritual institutions. Finally, ISKCON books gave my "satisfied" answers for all those queries I had, that too "as it is" without evading and confusing. That is what I like all the time from any spiritual master - while he answers he should speak to the point without evading and unnecessarily confusing the seeker. Now, coming to my answer or experience for what governs life before and after death, there is no life before and after death but only the existence of eternal soul. This soul is given a body for the next "life" to perform it's deeds based on the result of Karma(deeds performed in previous life). This governs the "soul" when it is in the body but "life" is only for the body when the soul is in the "body". When the soul is in the body and the body then has a "life", such life by performing good deeds, at the death of the body, the soul upon leaving the body gets a better body for "life" as it's next birth but a bad "life" if while in the lifetime bad deeds were performed. So it is the Law of Karmic reaction that governs the Soul and there is no life to govern before and after death, but only the soul in those transition of leaving and getting the body for "life". Please note: I love and respect Sadguru, also love watching his videos/read his quotes. But, I like a straight answer-"as-it-is" :) !

Hi, I have listened carefully to your answer and was not impressed one iota, theres a difference between brainpower, learning & spirit, compassion for your fellowman means not shutting him down elequently, in a leering way in front of an audience of your followers, he asked you a simple question, answer it honestly & let him be the judge of whether it helps him or not. no matter what level off development he's at . he is a son of creation ,don't leer or talk down to him , for he has surpassed you in this trial. Not doubt he is wise with words and using them. But I am feeling sorry for him because being such a wiser man he should be the biggest believer but he is not. The simple truth is, a ZERO never ever can produce the ONE. The question was who made your BRAIN so perfect that you can actually think and be rational, logical about everything you can come in contact with? he is trying to tell it just happened and by saying this he is proving that he is actually a biggest fool with a lot of confidence. no offense but this is the truth. GOD has created everything and we are going to go back to him one day. why to wait to meet to your GOD then? why hospital? Because we love this deceiving world so much that we do not feel like leaving it. and TOP of that, When we know that one day anyhow we are going to go back to GOD then lets enjoy this world and worldly things meanwhile as long as we can, after all it was created for us. so lets enjoy the life here.
