Meet Fenwick! He has put his owner in the hospital, hurt the other trainer, bucked, reared, runoff, pullback and and and..... Then they found his medical issues! He has been cleared of any pain or medical problem now and is ready to go back to training to unlearn the bad and continue on with the good behaviors.

I've rehabbed a few that have had medical pain issues resulting in bad behaviors. Just like us, even when things are resolved physically, mentally you still think it's gonna hurt. Horses get over mental stuff way faster than people. Btw love Tik and his book ❤

There are so many good things about this video. I never fully understood the reason behind doing this exercise, but you explained it very well! You made such an important point about staying calm and not getting sucked into their emotions, and I know I have trouble with that. I'm going to try very hard to model my behavior after yours and change my mindset. Thank you for making this video!!
