Its just one piece of many that goes to the story of the Torah. The more archaeological digs that are done everywhere the Jews have been the more evidence has been found substantiating the Torah. So it is important in a lot of respects. Dont forget that when god gave us the Torah / the bible he knew the past, present and the future as a complete picture and knew we would pass this stuff down then go looking for it in the dirt giving credit to god where it belongs.

That theory has been rejected by most egyptologists and archaeologists and presupposes that the Sphinx was Pre-Dynastic. Khefren/Khafre is believed to have been the Pharaoh represented by the Sphinx and the flood would have been long before his reisgn. God Bless

It’s not “stella”-latin for “star”. It’s a Greek word, stele. The “e”s are etas. (AYTAH). So stele, accent on the second syllable, is pronounced “stay-LAY”. In English it has variations, but this is the original.
