Sosa Chamberlain read if you want to but what i have to say is dont fear death. Fear gives you an uncomfortable feeling towards this thing you cannot control (death) and whether you fear it or not its going to happen just make the time and life you've been gifted with a happy one. That's just how I deal with death, and the fact that i cant control when it happens or how.

Considering the universe is made out of energy it would stand to reason that all living things have that "energy" as a part of them. And since no energy is gained or lost in the universe it would stand to reason that when we die our energy is released back into the universe to continue the infinite cycle of creation and recreation.

And maybe when our "energy" is released we become a part of the universe itself and experience something akin to a "heaven".

Alex Nguyen It's the basic law of physics: The universe has a set amount of energy and that energy is never increased or decreased.

Tavares Doughty funny, I also always think that since energy and mass in an isolated system must remain constant, your thoughts might vanish but everything that makes you, biochemically, is just deconstructed and reconstructed into something new. How's that for eternal life? 🙄😉

***** Yes but physically though. It's just a theory but I'm saying that if we die our physical self is shedded and the energy or soul or whatever you want to call whatever it is is released to come back to the energy of the universe as a whole.

I'm not religious whatsoever. What makes sense to me is that hey, at some point I wasn't conscious, then I became conscious, at some point I will die, so not being conscious again. But I see no reason why not to become conscious again since I've done it at least once. Makes sense ? Not existing > existing > not existing, What prevents us from going to "existing" again since we'll be in the same state as previously to existing ? It makes sense to me that actually we might've kept existing and dying over and over, perhaps as other life forms, on other planets, maybe even other universes. Who knows.

I see people saying that god has to exist because "it would be just too much of a coincidence for us to exist otherwise." But Earth is not the only planet at a perfect distance from the sun, it's not the only planet with water, and probably not the only planet with life. We, as humans, tend to think of ourselves as the center of everything. It's comforting to think we're "special" and that we have a "purpose"... But the truth is probably that you're just like every other living thing. A group of cells reacting to the environment with the ability of processing complex information and that, at some point, became self-aware. I'd recommend everyone to watch "You Are Two" by CGP Grey. That will inspire some thought.

Eileen Lamson that's exactly what the bible is about, it's what God wants for all of us. The story of the bible is about how people want to live life on their own terms and how well it works out for them, it also talks about how well it will work out for them after death if those who oppose him don't turn around. It's not about heaven and hell, it's about love and proof that no matter what adversities we face love is always possible.

3 months late to the party. Yay! 😏 Being raised Mormon, I was taught a whole bunch of "stuff". Some made sense, and some stuff didn't. But I've tried to distill my life experience/learning down to something that makes sense to me, and hopefully it makes sense to whomever reads this. Here goes... I believe we continue on after this life. I find it difficult to believe that once death hits, it's just nothing. I could be wrong, but I hope I'm more right than wrong. I believe in a resurrection/reincarnation type of philosophy. I'd like to think the form we take will be similar to what we look like now, but in a more refined state, not subject to the type of sicknesses/diseases that can effect us now (i.e. sans a compromised body). In addition to all that, I believe our personalities (energy/intelligence) will be intact, whether or not there really is a resurrection/reincarnation. I think, at least, we'll be able to observe, keep learning and interact with each other in some form. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed this segment. Like Joe, I tend to take an open view of things. Like Tiff, I can relate to the energy paradigm. And like everyone else, I used to think about the lights turning off, but gradually veered away from it, as it didn't resonate/make sense with me. But as I said before, I could be wrong. 😉

bart had a point with the theory he said, but it goes the other way with it. remember that u can't get something out of nothing. it's the law of Cause and effect. something created the big bang to occur and if the big bang created the universe then that means whatever created it must be outside the universe. which means it is not affected by space and time. which points to a higher being.

The real question is is there death after life
@_taranjot7 жыл бұрын
The thing is though, I know that many scientists, especially biologists, study life and see how perfectly things work together, like how the human body works or how parts of nature co-exist and realize that there has to be some kind of maker, there is no way it happened on its own. So I feel like in some ways scientific explanations and religious explanations go hand in hand.

Geo, there's this awesome thing called the internet. You think the stuff you guys were talking about is insane, but there are somethings out there that will really blow your mind. Look into things like inter-dimensional beings, physics, time travel, weather modification, Mariana's Web, (Artificial intelligence) underground bases, remote viewing, the list goes on. Have to use a little bit of critical thinking, but the information can really open your mind to things you never thought possible. Start here on KZbin, there is no limit to the videos you can find.

Patrick No it won't the universe will die. These are the leading theories right now on how the universe will die. 1. It will expand and expand until everything is so far apart, the universe will just turn into darkness. It will be stretched out so much that the universe itself will tear apart, meaning the molecules and atoms that make up the universe will not be able to expand anymore. 2. The universe will expand, and once it reaches it's limit it will start to shrink again, and shrink until it's literally the size of a pencil tip, and boom another big bang. 3. Gravity can crush the universe at any time. It could be in 5 min it could be in 5 billion years. Steven hawking talks about this much better than I do, but basically the gravity that holds the universe together could at any second crush the entire universe into nothing almost like a supernova crushes itself into a black hole. Oh also another side point 99.9% of life that has existed on earth has gone extinct. Dinisaurs lived on earth for over 100 million years. Modern day humans or homo sapiens have only been on earth for 200 thousand years. We are literally nothing as a human race in terms of time in the universe. Also in 5 billion years our sun will swallow up the earth, from it growing into a red giant.

JayIsStealth Life after death? Of course it is. I mean think about it. The universe has existed for 14 billion years without humans. Who knowd how many trillions and trillions of solar systems have existed and then blown up in this time. Who knows how many billions of lifeforms have existed and died. The entire human existence will be a tiny millisecond spec on the grand clock that will be the universes life. Not sure if you've seen the show cosmos, but they put the entire life of the universe up until now in a calendar form. You know our 12 month year. Basically humans have been around only for the last millisecond of the last second of the last minute of the last hour on december 31st. I mean come on if suns, and planets, and entire galaxies, and the universe can die you really think a human mind will exist after they die? There is absolutely no evidence of a soul or of god, or of an afterlife. We as a human race might not even exist in 1000 years, and if new life forms here on earth smart enough like us they'll find our bones, and books, and study us like we do with acient life here on earth.

To touch on what Joe said about how when you look at the micro and macro of ourselves and our universe, it reminded me of what my brother said that was someone elses theory; we are the universe experiencing ourslves. So those similarities that we see with cells and the things out in space sorta lend themselves to support that statement. But who knows, life is just a big ass mystery and I'm more concerned about doing shit here before I die and end up in possibly nothing.

They may be atheists or non believers for many reason. These reasons can be that they seen so many fucked up shit in their life that they feel hopeless and alone. They probably feel that no god got their back. Remember, the devil grows inside the hopeless, selfish, and wicked. We all know what is right and what is wrong. When you got options in front of you, and you choose the negative option, a negative outcome will come back to you. That is how Karma works. Karma is real and you might now realize now, but there will be one point in time that karma will hit you hard and you will feel like shit- if you do negative acts. Also, we already live in some sort of hell. We live in a world that evil is being promoted by the media and no one realizes that. Only the smart and intilegent will know. Joe is a smart mothafucka, and i know that because of one episode where they were talking about how the media works or something close to that. Joe if you see this comment let me know bro, blaze it. also, You dope as fuck Joe, deuces.

God made this world for free to us. We are supposed to be living free. We shouldn't be waking up to be making money. Money never was a thing until the evil minded convinced people to live by their rules. Compare how we are living now, and how when god put Adan and Eve. Two whole different environments, right?.

One last thing, May Weather can make billions in just 35 minutes. Teachers make around $50,000 a year. Teachers are the people who put knowledge into our youngins brains. But what does that tell you? It tells us that being entertained is more important (to the eyes of the entrepreneurs) than advancing in civilization. Remember, the bible was man written, and no human is perfect. If you feel special, you are wrong. We are all the same. also, Judging races is pure evil.

I'm not religious, but I do believe in the possibility of a higher being. But since there are so many different religions I don't choose to follow any in particular. I just be the best me that I can be and when my time comes whether it's darkness or some form of continuation I know I was able to do what I can do to not only benefit others but be all I can be. Now I will say I do believe in ghosts and spirits (probably just lost a lot of people with that statement) and the reason for that is my own and my families experiences with spirits. Starting back when I was young about 5 or 6 and my sister was 3 or 4 we had an experience that at the time I didn't know was even an experience. Our grandfather had died years before we were even born so neither of us had met him, but one night I heard my sister call me from her room and when I went in she was laying in bed and he was sitting there on the bed, he would go on to tell us both a story and we ended up falling asleep. The next morning we asked my mom where grandpa was, to keep the story short she didn't believe we had seen him even after we described him perfectly and to this day (15 years later) she still doubts that there are ghosts. Now I will say other then the shadows and moving doors and cabinets I never had another experience like that one again. My friend however did recently after his mother passed away he told me how while we were at the funeral he not only felt her next to us but saw her standing with us before we went into the main chapel. Now these are my feelings and opinions on what happens after death. It's not my job to convince anyone that my way is the only way nor is that what I plan to do. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and idea as are they entitled to have their own religious beliefs. I hope anyone who reads this and even those who don't have a wonderful life, a happy holidays, and an even better new year in 2017.

my opinion: you know how after a certain age, you actually start to remember things more properly and understand things better? well, before that age of mine, everything was just black. just a fog of mist across my eyes and covering my youth as a child. idk know how I actually remember that, but I actually like... picture the blackness before I was born. like how slimy the inside of my bubble was and how once in a while I would try and open my eyes. Its complicated to explain but I do remember those moments. tho, I feel like its gonna be like that when we're dead. We are inside heaven or the afterlife (whatever you prefer) and we can actually look into the world and see how fellow bloodlings go down the road. anyone agree with me?mm

Ever see the moment somebody dies? The soul straight leaves the body. Think about thoughts, memories. Our body is simply a vessel. There is life after death.
@hetastic_bro7 жыл бұрын
According to Occultic;Nine, our soul is just charged particles that carry memories and emotions similar to how a radio signal carries music and voices. Our bodies are just the physical containers that are bound to the world of the living that contain these charged particles. That manga is so fascinating.

there is no such thing as death, when the physical body expires the soul returns to its spiritual home, its like waking up from a dream! and is beautiful beyond words!
