Not to be nitpicky, but you don’t listen for radio signals… Radio is a form of light. People get it confused because of the radio that you listen to in your car. Radio signals are not sound there is information encoded in the radio light waves that is been picked up by an antenna and then that data is converted into audio. But you do not listen for radio signals you look for them. It’s just one of the longest wavelengths of light and it is not visible to the human eye, but they are not sound waves. They are light waves. The movie contact drove me nuts because it showed Judy Foster sitting there with headphones onat a radio observatory like she was listening to the signals from Outer face and that’s not how it works that’s not how it works at all.
