@@supahman20 Actually, Australians identified with our British counterparts in the 60's, we still paid in pounds & had the royal mail etc, & if you read the news it was demanded you speak proper English because that's what audiences expected, also, many upper class still spoke as English because it was considered 'cultured' & you couldn't get a job as a newsreader without sounding how boss's thought as professional, of course, this was before Aussies started accepting our own way of speaking & being comfortable with our own vocal inflections & before our tellys were flooded with yank tv.

@@wilhelmeley6617 Not thinking about interesting questions with big implications - even if they're totally speculative - every once in a while is actually pretty shallow intellectually speaking. Being curious is a good thing and you're allowed to (and should) think of things outside of your narrow day-to-day "circle of concern." Btw, most people picture the classic grey alien when thinking about extraterrestrial life so an actual comment on the atmosphere that life evolved in affecting how they would look is notable.

Once i knew a person who had such little interest about space and other planets, that while we were accidentally watching together a mockumentary on traveling to and exploring the planets of the solar system, showing spaceships and crews actually landing on Jupiter and Saturn satellites, he asked me if what the film showed, did in fact happen. He had no idea about the current stage of space exploration.

@@atlntcostv7293 think, that a majority are quick to self defence, defending that their understanding is superior to that of another. Using snarky and rude remarks to fuel their egotistical nature. Not all are that way however, its mainly the ones on the internet. And it begins to add understanding as to why there is such noticeable generational divide, on nearly everything, from music to cars, culture, beliefs etc. In my experience older people - more often than not - are very kind and polite. And with that said, I believe many people today (again, not all) are very satisfied with themselves, but not maybe not all in the best ways.

I have seen a genuine flying saucer in broad daylight within 100 yards. I have no idea where it was from but I swear on my life it was real, my ex who was with me saw it as well. It was dead silent and hovering about 100 feet in the air. We watched it for about 5 minutes from the edge of a field. I ran back to the car to get my phone and take a picture, when I turned back around it was gone, never made a sound.

I saw a flying saucer hovering over a community college located in Bristol/Plainville, CT, circa 1990. It was broad daylight on a warm and sunny day; I had just stopped at a red light when looked up and there it was, just hovering. I pointed up at the saucer and said to my 5-year-old, “What’s that, son?”, because I thought that I was hallucinating. Thankfully, my son said, “That’s a flying saucer, Mommy!”. He still remembers that, to this day, too. I scoured the newspapers for days, afterward, but never saw or heard a thing about the incident. I did, eventually, enter the info on a website that keeps detailed records of all UFO sitings.

I was with DCA Australia Dept of Civil Aviation Head Office in Melbourne in the late fifties. We had two seemingly authentic sightings on so called 'flying saucers'. The first the scrambled fighters from Cambridge Aerodrome Tasmania but they saw but were unable to get near them. The second in far North Queensland where the flight crew of a Douglas DC6B with 4 in cockpit crew and 4 hostesses and 56 passenger all of whom witnessed a 'flying saucer' which flew around them. The Douglas DC6B, Australia's largest domestic airliner of that era, and all onboard swore an oath as to the fact. Up until i had been skeptical. however, as a result, I doubt whether we ARE the only living being in the universe.

The "vegetable" guy worked in area 51 back in the states before being sent to Australia to gather the best scientists in biology, astrophysics, language, other subjects etc. and bring them back. He worked in "Building 33" as you see in the clip and the old lady who said "frozen to death" is his mother who he decided to take to get to know Australia. The mother, also outside of "Building 33", gave out classified information given in confidence by her son by saying "they'd be frozen to death". You see, the aliens from area 51 came from a planet that underwent a sudden ice age and its population fled to many planets in the "goldie lock" zone including our earth, which is the only survivable one for their kind in our solar system.

The guy who said “vegetable” wasn’t trolling or being dumb. That word was once used as a scientific term for all plant life. He was most likely taught about the “Vegetable Kingdom” in Biology class. Now days, we would say “plant life” or something similar, but the broader definition is still in the dictionary and people would’ve understood what he was saying at the time.

Ouh no. The lizard people were among us long before we knew! They just learned to adapt better.

These videos are fascinating insights on the human mind. And the unbelievable change in 60 years. Older generation didn’t feel comfortable talking about it. Younger did. A dramatic difference in mindset. And another view into the unbelievable human transformation we have seen in recent centuries. Humans increasingly moving away from certain societal norms and simplicity into a more complex realm. Young people of every generation maybe anticipating the excitement they may live through and preparing mentally to deal with it.
