That is about how much they sell for in the United States in this condition. Yes you can buy a cheap one in the states, but the mileage is going to be very high and it will have a lot of problems.

Congrats! The squeaking noise from the roof of the car comes from the where it plugs into the front pillars. There should one on each side. You have to go buy some O-rings (find the right size that will fit snuggly onto the prongs) and slip them on. Each O-ring should fit in very snug (tight). Put a little grease over them before putting the top back on. After one or two years, they might start to squeak again. Just do the same thing again each time. Unfortunately, every Corvette that comes with these removable tops have this problem.

Sorry i wrote C6 but i ment C5. In the summer i use it regularly. But i still have alot of things i want to do with it. Fun cars!
