Own the 2019 Prestige. Last year before the dual screens. I've had numerous people just stop and look at it. It's a great car, 52k and not a single issue. And Tommy forgot to mention the rear steering. I can turn tighter than some cars half its size. Also the supercharger I think is better than the turbo. No lag.

@ So funny you asked. Yes I did get an oil light once. After a long road trip and it hadn't been to the dealer in a bit, I rarely drive the car since I have a take-home work car. But... I checked it and I was a quart down. I was kinda irked about that and researched it and Audi actually says that oil consumption is normal. Not sure why? Maybe because of the higher performance from the super charger? But Audi said it's not an issue as long as you add oil when needed. I had just completed a 1k trip in it, and I do tend to cruise around 85-90. So... but it hasn't happened since.

I miss my 2017 Q7 Prestige/Technik.But not having a spare tire and that air ride w/4wheel steering is the biggest problem for me because throught the 5 years, I've experienced 3 punctures and luckily I was able to drive the vehicle to the dealership - tire sealant is useless when the puncture is in a spot that cannot be drivable. Tires weren't cheap to replace for the 21s since I had to purchase FOUR sets (1 set for winter and 3 for summers) of tires because they weren't patchable/repairable. If you wonder why I mentioned the air ride, because if you have new sets of tires installed, a tire shop cannot simply do the 4 wheel alignment - it have to be the dealership because of the air suspension and 4 wheel steering :(. Being cautious of spending.... If i knew about all those I mentioned above, I would not have acquired a fully loaded Q7. Other than that, it was lovely vehicle. But if if you are financial focused/cautious about spending on wear & tear items, you best do as much DIYs to balance out your budget spending on a Q7 - which is what I did throughout the ownsership and I literally saved thousands of dollars. If you are not mechanically inclined to perform DIYs, choose a Q7 w/o air suspension and 4 wheel steering or stay away from it completely

Will you guys do a offroad test or even roller test? Curious on how thing this does with quattro and the air suspension
@kaliman198117ifyАй бұрын
Never had a Q7 but I wish I did. I owned Audis since 1998 mainly A4s and Q5s, never had issues. Maintenance is the key in these engines. I always had the 1.8T or 2.0. The Q7 is a big SUV if I buy one it will have to be the 3.0 engine
@larful17 күн бұрын
Did they bring back the remote start yet ? I have a 2017 q7 , only complaints for me is it consumes oil and the pano roof needs constant maintenance to prevent creaking and rattles. The ventilation seats have pin holes that often collect dirt and become hard to clean. the interior is fragile often clips and covers that flip down cup holders break visor clips. things just kind of pop off or break. of the previous model years like mine 3rd row seat is controlled by electrics. I am sure this one is as well. Which can fail and cause it to be a $4000 dollar seat replacement. thankful for my warranty on that one. Anyone who gets this car of course will have a warranty just really keep in mind your trim level coverage in your plan that generally it’s not covered it’s not cheap to fix interior parts

To me piano black is a cheap out. Especially for an 80+ k car. It’s like instead of using wood or leather or something actually classy, let’s just snap shiny black plastic on everything. Pretty pathetic for a supposed “luxury” car. I get it if it’s a 30 or 40k car trying to hit a certain price point, but for a car this expensive it’s not acceptable.
