The answer is....because if i buy rs3...i will spend the same..or even more money on aftermarket...like my friend did....he had an golf 7 r..hgp480...and a passat estate....hgp480...he want more...ok...he boughr rs3...but he urgently take an apointment at hgo...now he has the rs3 606..lol...all others in the garage...this is some kind of sickness above shoulder...lol...but somewhere you need to know inside where you should stop it...

Nice review, I have an 2018 S3 in Ara Blue Crystal Effect! Super nice colour. I have an APR Stage II with the downpipe and just got the APR Carbon intake system. Installing this weekend. Should have about the same power as yours, insane when you think about it! 400 Hp from a 2.0 L engine! More than 400 ft lbs torque? Insane for not a lot of money!

This sounds amazing for a 4 cylinder. I have a pre-facelift, and could not find a decent sounding setup. They were all weak with stupid sounding DSG farts. So I kept my Mk4 VR6 GTI with a Magnaflow exhaust that puts any 4 banger to shame (R32 sound, just slightly better), but a tuned S3 is a real weapon.

It's around a 20 thousand difference between the two cars in Canada and the APR stage 2 tune with intake, downpipe and intercooler costs between 3500-5000 dollars which puts it at around 390 HP and 410 lb/ft. You could get a full exhaust system and custom wheels with aftermarket suspension with that tune and potentially still save almost 10k over a stock rs3. But the engine/sound from that rs3 is just a different class even with that price difference..
