A lad down by me had one stage 2 , gearbox be gone in about 3 months tops .. he was 18 loaded money wise and he fucked his off due to it being a money pit .. gearbox won’t take the abuse .. also my corsa turbo pulled lengths on it , on a base map set at a 1 bar off boost pretty embarrassing tbh 😂

@@dsbdownsouthboost1287 did he get that tuned by Apr? You'd think a repetable company like that would tune it within the safe limits. Don't want to sound rude to us young guys but I think it is a financial mistake getting an expensive car at a young age. Financially you may be paying more than what the car is worth. If your working and your spending say 10% of your monthly income on a car then that's okay.

I had about the same giggle when I launched a Stage 2 S3. The car salesman next to me was not so enthusiastic! My only gripe is that we don't get the hatch here in the US. Nice video, man!

Yes more $ then a Golf GTI and Golf R night and day performance over the Gti and very close performance to the Golf R better handling in the golf R over the S3 in my view

I had a stage 2 s3 but sold it and got a golf R Yes they have the same engine and chassis however they drive like 2 completely different cars but the way the golf R is tuned is a lot more racy and the R is more aggressive in terms of shifting and handling The s3 is a lot softer and less engaging to drive

Need to remember that the S3 uses the Haldex system not Quattro. So it's really just FWD that can shove a bit of power to the rear if needed. Also, DSG farts sound awful. Or maybe I'm just too old 😂

Steven Thomson you’re just an old fart. The haldex is a much better system as it sends power where its needed. I love my stage 2 s3. Hangs with 1000cc bikes and blows 600-750s out the water

Must be cheap to insure a car on the Isle Of Wight. I’m 34, driving for 14 years, live in London and my average quotes for a Kuga is still around £8-900. How about reviewing cars that young people can afford to run mate.
