I'm trying to imagine, if Jesus Christ had made a personal appearance to the first presidency, or all the apostles, telling them He is coming soon, how would they react? Wouldn't they just be bursting to tell the world? Wouldn't you? But they would be withheld from doing so, because Christ still needs the world to develop faith, not a perfect knowledge. So what would they do? Well, perhaps they would all get on social media, and testify their little hearts out the Christ lives!! I believe He is coming soon, and that the excitement and urgency the prophet and apostles are demonstrating isn't ordinary. It's extraordinary!

I'm so glad you went down that rabbit hole! I am so glad you saw that negative comment! The truth is, if we have a question on anything the prophet speaks, we are encouraged to pray and receive an answer! I did that! I recieved an answer to why the wording was 'Think' Celestial AND I received an answer from the Savior about HOW to Think Celestial! For me, those answers are recorded in heaven... "As a man 'thinketh' so shall he be!! AND "Think on me thou Ransomed One, for I have engraven You upon the palms of my hands" and then I was shown his hands in my mind and those hands will be forever engraven into my heart ❤️ Thank you for your daily testimony of Jesus Christ ❤

It is so sad even heartbreaking when you come across someone who has missed the whole importance of what each word in a prophet's statement or message is for us to understand. I'm amazed that if I can sense the wonderful truth each word is conveying to me about my future, my happiness and just what marvelous things I can have someday how can this person choose to ignore and pooh pooh the wonder that exists. It is like someone grabbing a sketch by De Vinci and using it to clean dirt and gunk from the bottom of their shoe because they see it as scrap paper belonging in the trash can. Only it's worse because their minimizing a gift from our wonderful Eternal Father in Heaven our God.

I love his link between trials and opportunities. From personal experience, trials lead to opportunities to strengthen out covenantal bond with God and increase our faith and trust in Him. Through trials, we are able to see more clearly His hand in our lives and know of His promise to not leave us comfortless. Trial-free lives tend to lead to pride and deeper entrenchment in Babylonian culture. We must remember that the calamities of the last days can also be instruments to motivative His wayward children to leave the world and gather into His fold of safety in Zion.

Yep, Kaitlyn--I think you're on to something here. I won't be surprised at all as testimony after testimony from our remaining apostles shows up on social media. I believe it's a coordinated effort by our leaders to testify of Christ at a crucial time in history, and I feel like it's being directed by President Nelson, under inspiration from the Lord. Thank you for highlighting this! Something to reflect on, for sure.

I would really love it if the second coming was the end of fall-winter 2025. I am probably wrong but part of me really feels like stuff could all be packed this year with bad stuff like it's already started out and then we have this last harvest time this summer-fall to be ready. But then my other part says that's too good to be true.

I know that Jesus is returning to earth very soon. Believing the prophets’ words is simply believing Him, Jesus Christ. Don’t delay the hour of your repentance. Be ready to welcome Him home to earth, so He can, and will, welcome you into His Kingdom!

I wonder if those who criticize the Prophet have received their endowment. There is a portion of the Endowment, that isn't subtle, that concerns evil speaking of the Lord's annointed servants. Publishing on social media, one's criticism about anyone in the Presidency or Apostles, is definitely breaking that covenant with Heavenly Father.

But, just like Nephi, who was following his father, we can find out for ourselves if what the prophet says is true or not. We need not follow just because a prophet says to do it. Not only can we follow, but we can gain our own testimony that what the prophet asks us to do is correct.

Agreed. Additionally, if we really want to find out, we have to be willing to DO what the Prophet says and also be humble. Once we get an answer, then we are responsible for our new knowledge.

There are missionary in russia , and Arabic nations. They are not allowed to go out and teach. In fact there are people from Russia that are members and they are from a different lenage, also do you know there is a temple in Ukraine, and Ukraine used to be part of Russia. I am Slavic and still have relatives abroad...thought you would want to know

Kaitlyn, I appreciate you so much, but my life since 10 I have suffered terrible things. I am now almost 73. I have sought the Lord daily and studied His word, but sometimes I feel so alone when I pray. I've tried with my whole heart to treat people in and out of the church with kindness. So if there are more trials ahead, I'm not sure I have the strength to deal with it. I've fought a battle my whole life not to give up. I wish I could feel joy like you, but I've suffered from mental illness most of my life. I don't have hardly any family left to help me. I love my daughters so much, but they don't believe in the Lord. Lately, my church family has rejected me. I feel like Job. I've done everything the Prophet has asked us. I love reading the scriptures and learning about the Atonement. Why do you think my Lord and Father in Heaven don't communicate with me? They are all I have right now. This trial of my faith is more than I can bear. I have suffered almost every type of trial but helped others and been faithful. Why are some blessed in their trials and others not? Whenever the Lord provides for me or I feel blessed, I give Him thanks and praise. I feel broken, forsaken, and unloved. I love you, and your light has blessed me. I don't understand what I've done wrong to be rejected by God and people in my church. I've done all I can. If my Lord comes, will He even want me? 😢

You must be an amazing person!!! I think the absolute best people I know have suffered and endured many hard things. I hate when people say He won’t give us more than we can handle because sometimes it really is more!!! But I do believe He will help us through as we keep the faith and keep turning to Them. You are obviously elect and will be sooo rewarded. Just keep doing the best you can. Breathe deeply each day and look for the positives and you’ll make it ❤

@hollybodily8071 Thank you for your kindness, but if I were amazing, the Lord would want to love and bless me. If I hadn't lived my life, I wouldn't have believed it. I hope you've found joy in your life. I think most people have suffered something, but without the love of a good mom, dad, and maternal grandma (all gone), I probably wouldn't be here. I have wished for death many times, but I fight not to give up. The trials just keep coming. What is difficult is when you love people, why do they hate you? This is the Church! 😢♥️🫂

Yes, we are being led to live Celestial Law. (Zion people, Law of consecration, united order, patriarchal order, and such). Redemption of Zion has to be done by Celestial Law. Those to be exaltated have to abide celestial law. "We are told in these verses which I have read, that the Saints in former days were driven from the land of their possessions because they lacked that union which was necessary for their safety and salvation, and to preserve them upon this land which the Lord designed to give them for an inheritance. They were not united according to the union which was required by the celestial law. (D&C 105:4) And we are told here that Zion cannot be built up upon any other principle or foundation." (Lorenzo Snow: JD 19: 341) The other thing I found interesting is he is saying we are not to just endure the comming hardships but endure them well. Seems to hint of the comming tribulation.
