The Cottack Workshop was contacted about repairing and restoring a treasured antique walking stick in bone, wood and silver. The stick was bequeathed to the owner's husband who was GP (doctor) and has been used for many years. The finish has flaked and the rubber base has worn away. There is a fine inscription on the silver collar which has all but been worn away. I took multiple photographs of the inscription and using Afinity Photo I stitched them into a panorama to reveal the hidden text beneath and clues to who the original owner might have been. I propose in the video that it was the Reverend John Tulloch (1823-1886).
