Oddly enough I did have a dream about you yourself last night. It was short dream but it was fairly vivid. From what I can rememer of it, in the dream I voluntarily - or was invited by you - to come to your home-laboratory. Once I got arrived at your home-laboratory - you showed me this device you had invented/engineered from scrap devices and you had it installed in a small room. You persuaded me to try this device which I did and I was told that it was 'something to help me dream.' (?) And that's all I can remember of it. Would you classify this as a lucid dream? Oh and by the way, I did attempt the video short you did weeks ago with 'Steve'. I watched it about seven or eight times in one evening but it didn't work at all,but perhaps I should stuck with it...

Journal them down. Anytime you have a dream with things out of the ordinary, like a friend, leave a journal by your bed side, so you can quickly wake up and journal your experience with that friend. Make it a full, vivid story. Anything you forget once awake, just cover the experience with one that's made up.

@dreamer..0982 ай бұрын
@@fishskilletvillet no techniques. But I do wake bed to bed. Which is not very necessary too. It's not about lucid dream. It's about lucid mind. Techniques are just tools but the thing you need is a lucid mind. Which questions reality frequently. So stick to the basics. Keep doing your reality checks. Think critically during day time. And keep you dream journal updated. And you are good to go

How to practice lucid dreams. even if you are incredibly busy. I have this problem a lot 😢
@elliotp24862 ай бұрын
Try association techniques and see if that works. For instance, every time you have to do a certain task like picking up a pen or opening your computer, take a short moment to breath and think about lucid dreaming. If you're busy, then hopefully 5 or 10 seconds every now and then should be enough to help you practice lucid dreaming, but not enough to take away from the busyness of your life. Think of it as practicing a skill very slowly. It takes longer to have a noticeable affect, but it still grows if you're being intentional about it.

I've had a Lucid Dream within a dream, where I could control the dream and also think like I was awake, but when I attempted to wake up, this resulted in entering an actual dream from a point where I 'wake up' where sometimes I will also be Lucid. Then I'd wake up within 5-8 minutes in that 'secondary' dream. How common are 'double dreams', and is there any type of evidence or explanation as to how they come about? I'm curious as to if these events are related to some unusual thing I do in my day-to-day that somehow causes double-dreams.

I had only my second lucid dream just this week. I was outside on a street, everything was very clear and detailed but the light was dimmer. I thought, 'hey this is a dream. I wonder if what people say about not being able to see the screen of your phone is true.' I checked my phone and could see vague blobs for apps but no more. 'That checks out then. And, I should be able to fly.' I lifted off the ground by thinking about it but then went feet first. This happened three times, each time I tried to fly forwards I ended up going feet first and not as high off the ground as I wanted. Any thoughts about this? Thanks.

The weird thing is that you can dream that you're lucid, without actually being lucid -- it's only after you wake up and recall the dream, that you recognize "oh wait, that wasn't actually lucid/I wasn't actually lucid at all." This can be confusing, but once you've had a reasonably lucid dream, the difference is unmistakable. (And afterwards, if that happens again, you might get aggravated when you somehow dream _about_ being lucid without actually _becoming_ lucid.)

@@Muhammed.E23 From my experience, the best way to fight against this is with logic. Record your dreams and try to figure out what the difference is between your dreams and waking life. For instance, I found out in my dreams that whenever I'm running from something or going fast, my brain fills in the gaps or changes things in the dream. In real life, however, things do not change when I am running. Try looking for license plates and remembering their characters, divert your attention to something else, and then look for the same license plate and see if it remains the same.

@daryl4d2 ай бұрын
If you are suffering from mental health issues never jump off a building to reality test. If flying is your thing, just try to levitate from a standing position… if you end up levitating, then you know you’re dreaming, will become lucid and then you can fly off to wherever you want without any issues of harming yourself. This works really well for me, although most of my lucid dreams originate as WILDs. Also, you don’t need SP to enter a dream if it’s WILD… I never enter SP, I just consciously enter the dream from hypnogogia. Hope this helps.
