Not a vet but since i have never seen this before in a conure, i wouldnt feed anymore of that. It could be harming the bird internally without u knowing.

Thanks for your concern 💗 I don't actually feed her raw turmeric, it's the bath with raw ground turmeric mixed in water that caused the temporary colour change. I can assure you, she's perfectly safe 😊

I don't think that is a good idea. Please only bath your bird with plane lukewarm waters. I just care about her and wan't her to be healthy and safe. Am sure your a good owner, she seems happy and well taken care of. I just ask you maybe don't do this:) ❤

Thanks for your concern 💗 I'm also feeling bad for the yellow tint on her plumage, although she's perfectly healthy and the itching actually reduced. I'll not bathe her with freshly ground turmeric again, and stick to the occasional sprays of water mixed with a pinch of organic turmeric powder, which doesn't leave any yellow stain. For daily baths, I provide her, her own tiny bathtub and she takes a good bath on her own.
