Cool bike! Good to see that he’s built it to HIS wants, not to be on trend… The GRX series all have long cage rear mechs to handle up to 11-40 cassette’s, and feature the switchable clutch system as shown to reduce chain bounce. Up front the cranksets and mech sit 2.5mm wider than road for chainstay clearance, run solid, not hollow crank arms. I run 46/30 and 11-34, and love the versatility👌

Quite a famous brand in Malaysia... I'm dreaming of owning Standert Bürgermeister*in frame to build a classic gravel bike.

The bike is a hybrid between a modern endurance bike and a cross bike. The clearance is only up to 38c which in modern terms is not wide enough to call it gravel. Overall this bike is as he says, it's a do it all bike for distance and some dirt trails.

Grx has lower gears and can allow a bigger casset...brakes are stronger...and the rear derailleur has a clutch switch

I never tried road pedal, only Spd pedal. Those my friends with road cleat walk like duck. I suspect they somehow proud of walking like duck. 😁

9,5 is not heavy....not for a gravel bike and not at all for a steel bike!

This is heavy, even for a steel bike. I have a Colnago Tecnos of 8.5kg without fancy parts (full mechanic dura-ace, alloy stem/seatpost, Bora clincher carbon wheels), but ofcourse, that's rim brake and the GRX parts on the Standert aren't very light.
