You can try it, but hair pins have sharper ends (the wire is thinner and the pips-the little dots on the end-are smaller) so the impact/pressure will be distributed over a larger area

The boggest difference was noticed as ur saying "with said hair pin" as if u stopped the video n put plumper on or plumped them some better way after the first few taps with it. It was fuller almost immediately. I think u should have waited til more towards the end to edit the plumper in. Would have been less obvious. But thats just me.

You could do the same thing by taking your bottom teeth and scratching at your lip line. And you can even suck your top lip into your mouth. Do this to try to pull the blood flow to the upper lip. Basically as long as you’re agitating the upper lip you’re going to promote blood flow to the area. All in all, so it doesn’t really get much larger. Or basically larger at all. But it will increase the color which can help it appear larger.
