Great video as always Ryland! 150W is a bit underpowered for that size room. It will be fighting with the house and wash lights. Beam lights should be powerful enough to easily cut through the rest of the lighting in the room with gobos clearly visible. 150W would be good for a small room or youth space. I would recommend trying to 230W version to see the difference in your space before buying another one.

To my eye in our room they work well. We don’t run house lights. I’m sure the 230 would be even better though!

I have the 160w shehds moving led spot and it was pretty dang good for the church we were in that seats 1200, the 230w I'm sure is even better

Do you mean the 230w 7r beam or do they have an 230w led beam? Becouse i would always chose the 150w led beam over the 7r

Shehds confuses me. They seem to have all of the features of the more expensive lights, but they come in at a much lower price. I keep wondering where the cost savings is coming from. I will say that I did have one of their lights that had a manufacturing defect in the mounting bracket. I was able to fix it, but quality control could be part of where the cost savings is.

In pretty much every industry, companies from China have figured out how to steal designs so they do not need to invest money in R&D. That comes out as a lower retail cost, but it really hurts other manufacturers.

They’re much more cheaply made, with poorer parts and quality control. Consistency is also a big problem across different fixtures.

These are cheap knockoffs of better lights. There is no fixture profile to be found in the ETC fixture library. Nor in Avolite or any other decent manufacturer of lighting consoles. Plus, the fan is really loud. And good luck with tech support...because it doesn't exist.

Aputure makes good lights for video sets. I have not seen any that I’d use in a worship center. No dmx unless they are really expensive.
