Between 2007 and 2018, I attended the Sziget Festival ten times, and each time I accumulated a different and rich baggage of experiences! I’m proud to have introduced it to many of my friends for whom I organized the trip and stay in Budapest. It’s a shame that in recent years, the musical lineups have significantly declined in quality, and I don’t believe it’s just a matter of my changing musical tastes. One day, when I’m much older, I’d love to return and experience the island without chasing after specific musicians from one stage to another, fully immersing myself in the island vibes!

I did 6 days in 2022 and it was amazing but my advice is to pace yourself because I went too hard on the first 3 days and then just had to take a break on the 4th haha. Be careful lol

Thank you! There are quite a few actually. There’s the main stage that holds +50k and then a massive tent stage, and perhaps 4-5 smaller stages so there’s always something to see tbh 🙌

How did you find transportation to and from the festival, is there an ideal time to travel there on the way and then on the way back to your hotel?

Getting to and from Sziget was something I stressed about sooo much before my first trip. But the truth is that I never waited more than 10 minutes to get a taxi to get from the festival to the city centre, even after a huge headline set. There is an official taxi rank with a queuing system just outside the main entrance, so it's super straightforward. You can get the metro out there as well, but I can't remember if it runs all the way through the night tbh.

So the argument about inflation is not true, cause the loans had not increased. But the prices of everything in the country are the same like in the rest of europe and thats a shame

@@patrap4625 You live in hungary? The income of an educator for example is 120 000 HUF brutto, a gate keeper is about 100 000 HUF brutto. What you are talking about?
