My guy woulda been fine if he had surveyed his surroundings and really learnt his weapons effective range. Of course he got fucked there. He let a guy sneak up on him, while trying to morningstar a dude turtling with a spear. Should peeked the corner. Rule numero uno of Dank Sauce: ALWAYS make sure YOU dictate the battlefield, don't play into the enemies home field advantage. Lure em out, finish em off one at a time, and don't be afraid to get cheesy. Also learn the shield kick riposte.

that was the worst example of how to kill most basic enemies i've seen my man carefullness is a must and you were very careless instead of really trying to hit the enemy you hit the wall as you can see yourself that green spark effect happening when you or the enemy gets hit(you in this case) is counterdamage which means you eat way more damage also durability is no joke in this game try not hitting walls also check corners and some simple tips to round it up look at your weapons length if something is in reach you are most certain to hit it if not then don't attack carefulness don't play dumb use your goddamn brain do what logic tells you(e.g. hit something that is in reach of your weapon not something that is out of reach) if you misjudge something and die cuz of it stand up again and don't do the mistake next time the game is about trial and error man 99.99999% of your deaths are because of your own doing that one 0.00001% is because of some dumb bs and most important: take dark souls seriously if you wanna accomplish something in dark souls
