A lot of people get mad that tommy takes so long to build his cars but that’s how they turn out so perfect. Perfection takes time and I’d gladly wait a year to watch a car get built and turn out like this than watch someone build a car in 2 months and have it go through 4 engines

Nice to see the car built for what it was intended for. GT-SS best street set up you can get for response and power! Combined with the 264s, well thought out! I have been working on these for almost 20 years, and have owned 15 GTRs, so I know them pretty well.

2:18 That's an Autech R32 4 door with RB26 (but no turbo, NA only). Very rare now, but a cool car and 4 doors are cool.

@@TheSlipAngle I've got an Autech 260RS which is a Nissan Stagea wagon with the RB26, I've become slightly obsessed with Autech cars as a result. The R33 4 Door GTR is another rare gem. I believe Tommy is into this kooky shit too :). By the way I saw your FD review videos on KZbin a while ago and thought they were spot on. I've also got an FD but it's shat a water seal, may rebuild and go single turbo, but I do like the twins also!

I had one in 1998 it was a stage 1 mod 430 hp 15 psi standard turbos exhaust tune and the standard cams turned whatever that meant.it revved to 9000 rpm all stage 1 did.it did 11.9 @ 112 mph quarter mile.it was king of the street back then miss it

Everything tommy did to this r32 is how i would want my r32 to be, with the exception of a single turbo conversion with a Precision 6466 just because of ease of maintenance on the Hot side and newer turbo technology. Everything else is perfect

TommyFYeah's i had twin 2530s on my 32....... seriously so a new Garrett G35 single.... 700hp with and comes on earlier then the 2530s and that with a Holinger or PPG and you will have the ultimate street car ;)

In Japan and other countrys it ruled street racing too, Just because it did not do it in the US and it was not a Drag car. There is some thing wrong with it. Well the other JDM did that the Supra Mk4 ruled drag. To me Skyline has to be twin turbo nothing else.

I would say 4-450hp in the RX7 FD is the sweet spot for a useable street car, any more and your not putting it all down, And remember it’s at about 2600lb in some variants from factory, play around with that and it will be on you quick, Skyline has the 4wd though and that works well In that platform. R32 and a FD would be my 2 car garage, Evo is awesome for styling I just don’t love them and the R34 whilst being the legend all Americans are dying to get hold of I don’t think lives up to the hype, it got bloated and heavy,,,, R32 is the daddy. All Tommy’s builds are done to a incredible level, I don’t get the whole mirror thing or the constant pursuit of fitment perfection but everyone has there vices
