Chris Smith (Stan Solo) has done prison time for counterfeiting goods, and then later he supposedly found a load of Princess Leia Kenner blasters and was selling them for £40. Michael French was guilty of helping to promote these blasters also claiming that they were the genuine article. He had a story about having a friend who was the son of former Palitoy worker who found a whole box of Princess Leia blasters. A lot of people bought them, then afterwards he started to manufacture reproductions of Kenner blasters. How many collectors bought these Princess Leia blasters, thinking that thye were genuine? The man is a crook. You don't need to be a genius to realise that a convicted criminal with a history of counterfeiting goods happens to have a huge supply of original Princess Leia blasters is telling massive lies and has ripped off everyone who bought them.

when Amy Winehouse "died" , i used logic to figure out it was a murder, and her manager did it, she said in a previous concert that she was getting clean for her niece , who she wanted to spend time with and that she was ending her career and firing her manager. then later she was found overdosed, and dead, and at the same time her body was being discovered , almost at the same time, her ex manager posted a tweet, saying that Amy won't be doing any shows for the time being, a. how would he know that unless he had just poisoned her, and b. he wasn't her manager anymore, so he wouldn't be in charge of saying that, so i think he just said that, to act like he was still her manager, because in the event of an artists death, the manager gets all the royalties to her music sales. so i think he poisoned her on purpose, just for the money. i tried to contact interpol, but i don't think they thought my logic was sound?

Not likely. If prices continue to rise for vintage Kenner, it’ll be harder to own the genuine stuff (wait until 2027). The “last 17” figures are too expensive for me, so I’ve settled for SSC’s repros, from that final 1985 line (not interested in the DROIDS and EWOKS figures, also the same year). I’d rather own the originals, but failing that, the SSC reproductions are very well done - and very close to the genuine articles. Same with the Mark Poon repro Rocket-Firing Boba Fett. I could never own an original specimen, so why deprive my collection of one - even if it is a (nicely produced) fake. You live only once, and these are just toys.

It's hard to tell. The guy who took over Smith Lord did really wrong to the customers. Stan Solo can be caustic in comments sections, though his figures are well done. I know he said he went through some stuff, but I don't know him and he does say some irritating things online. He definitely turned me off. I won't say I won't ever buy from him, but something isn't right. Maybe it could be the Smith Lord debacle or maybe something else.

The bantha and Exterior Cantina space pod thing are the kind of things I really think are ok, though, because they didn't make them in the original line...however, if he doesn't have the Disney/Lucasfilm license, then that's another can of worms...but if they haven't given him a cease and desist, then I guess that's on them. Threatening people is NOT ok, though.
