Ngl tons of people saying this op but I'M NOT GONNA LIE, it's really not that crazy, it's balanced but could _maybe_ get a guard buff. Go to community posts for sneak peaks of the game, information on new updates, etc. Use the codes "freedom" "200mil" "emotes" "funnycode" "shotgun" "250k" "freecrates" and "pocketchange" for spins and money!

Sluggers that know how to dodge and play aggressive with their m2s are probably the scariest ones. While I don't think Slugger is OP per say, I also don't think buffing the damage of its attacks is something ANYONE asked for. Slugger was always good, just not pre-nerf good, but now it's damage output and pressure, plus it's anti-heal m1s, make it really strong. Borderline, but not OP.

If they do it too early the m2 still catches, and most m2s are uncharged when thrown in combos, plus even if they do back dash, anti heal m1s and a surprisingly decent forward dash means they can just m1 until the PD for an M2. Plus ping differences as well and they can catch out of back dash.

@@POG5214 A lot of good, pro level players tend to mix up charged with uncharged (applies more pressure since it increase the chance of it hitting them or their block and combos well into other attacks)

slugger is like putting all your stats into damage and put the rest to the other stats. what slugger actually needs its more speed, cause even if they do a ton of damage they are too slow to land the m2 (except if pd or block break)

Both slugger and hawk are kinda same because they both have a gimmick slugger charging the m2 and hawk having the ability to swayback and both m1 are anti heal they're poses are kinda same too because they both dont have a guard pose like the other styles

Slugger is one of the only styles in the game that is perfectly balanced. It takes a good amount of skill to use and you have to be good at dodging since it's block isn't the best (if it needs a buff at all which I don't think it does btw but if it were to get a buff it should and definitely would be a block buff). The anti heal m1s are good. For the most part undodgeable m2s unless you back dash. M1 speed is decent. Cool ult. Cool stance. Very good damage on both m1s and m2s. Good dashes. Good block damage. Overall, a solid 8/10 style. And it definitely isn't known to be one of the worst legendaries idk what you were talking about in the description lol. Slugger is known to the best legendary (apart from ghost). It's just that people have no idea how to use slugger and use their m1s and m2s in a really predictable way which just gets their health shredded. A good way (and the way I use slugger) is as a counter style. Since it's m1s are too slow to be aggressive but also too slow to be passive. A good way to use slugger is as a counter boxer where you wait for your opponent to dash and m2 or just completely mix up all your timings of your m1 and m2 combos. Keep hitting them unexpectedly and randomly especially whenever they let go of blocking. It always works especially since the slower speed ruins their timing. But yeah, overall slugger is a w style (like I said 8/10) and I would rank it high A tier. Just make sure you know how to use it and DO NOT be predictable with it.

I once had 44 win streak with slugger, it's true its stronger than iron fist with no self dmg, absolutely broken😂😂

I found a way to cheese Slugger users. Instead of trying to pd the M2, I just back dash. Despite being away from them, after they throw the M2, they get into your range which allows you to land a free M2 on them everytime they try to M2. As long as you don't get cornered, you would possibly beat most Slugger users using this strat.

Most slugger users would throw their m2 right after an m1 chain so I spam back dash and land free m2s on them using this strat.

and anyone with a brain can predict that and either forward dash or walk right over to you and start a new m1 chain (ur block is screwed)

You are literally unable to move because of the charge-up and endlag from throwing the M2 which stuns you long enough to give me more than enough time to land a free M2 on you.

Slugger's M1 is slow, making it extremely difficult to corner the opponent. If you are up against a style with fast M1s, it just further decreases the possibility of cornering them.

Every time I try to play two more ranked games to get a rank it just says opponent fails to load in I don’t know how to fix this it happens every time now

Most sluggers have a pattern on their m2 timing so I don’t think It’s that much of a problem

if you have good dash you can just dash backward and they can't do nothing. or if you have fast m1 you can counter

El toletero está equilibrado en algunos casos, pero sus m2 son incluso más fuertes que el estilo puño de hierro y la carga que tiene es ligeramente rápida para reaccionar de manera correcta haciendo que los perfectos no sean una opción fiable a comparación de otros estilos. Imagínate en la situación de estar arrinconado en las cuerdas y te cae una ráfaga de m1 y para terminar un m2 medio cargado, no se podría esquivar y tendrías que asumir un daño considerable si quieres salir de esa situación. Nuevamente digo que el toletero está equilibrado con sus habilidades de daño de m1 sin curación y el m2 cargado, pero el daño de este último está injustificado y opacara a otros estilos que se merecen ese papel tanto por el personaje del que proviene el estilo como las condiciones que se necesitan para que ese golpe conecte. Cómo recomendación doy que el m2 le bajen el daño o tenga un tiempo mayor para su carga, o como última opción que su alcance sea menor. El toletero necesita ligeros ajustes para que sea perfecto y no se saque ventaja en los competitivos, pero admito que hay otros estilos que están un poco más op que necesitaran un nerfeo más urgente que el toletero

Needs a speed buff and range buff. again I don’t know why ippo an infighter has more range than slugger that makes no sense. Also, sluggers, M2 has the same problem as pre-buff Wolf were even if you land the heavy you still have massive endlag

It doesn't need a buff ik the m1 is really slow but the range is actually like hawk m1 range so u could catch enemy easily if u know the range and if it gets buff it's gonna be too op so its better to stay as rn(needs dodge skills and a bit of lucky)
