In my opinion, puppets and lightning are the best metallica albums. If only they waited to make another album, so they could do the best of justice and the best of the black album. Then there wouldn't have to be any fillers on both albums, and they had another fantastic album. Oh well, it was their decision.

@@SamuraiFTF There are no filler songs for me in Justice.
@SamuraiFTF2 ай бұрын
@@tonybp I tried enjoying that album so many times but I just don't see what other people see in it, I've been a metallica fan for like 6 years now, and I've never seen in justice what other people see in it. If I were to give it a rating (because there are 9 songs on justice) I'd give it a 4/9. The songs I like on justice are Blackened, ...and justice for all, Harvester Of Sorrow and To Live Is To Die. But everything else is just boring and repeptitive in my opinion. And feels like they tried TOO hard to make the songs complex, wich is a dumb decission because that's destined to fail after your best band member dies. (Miss you, Cliff)

That is crazy because I knew it would be THAT particular riff from To Live Is to Die just by looking at the thumbnail. Wonderful song. Not a word is spoken here (save for James' little poem in the middle), but you feel an ocean of things inside. If you ever felt the pain and agony of losing someone dear to you, this would be the soundtrack. Powerful stuff...

Definitely the saddest thing they’ve ever wrote. From the slow acoustic guitar intro, to the main riff, to the interlude, and the quote which brings it all home. It’s a masterpiece

No, the saddest riff IMO is the clean riff immediately after this. It just hits so emotionally, especially if you know this is basically a farewell Ode to Cliff!

Miss you Cliff, and thanks. If I was James, a Cliffism would have been included in ALL the albums after master not just this one. He was the added factor that made a garage band into superstars, regardless of personal feelings the band had for him he deserves mucho respect and should have got it for that alone.
