I've not seen very many corner tangs on artifact videos over the years. The other two artifacts are really really fine. That's one crazy bison skull as well .... what incredible luck! Take care LIT ... Happy New Year.

Dang!!! Really goog Meserve Dalton, I've only found 2 c.t. knives all my years on river. That winged snapped base idk for sure? C.C?, or really big Pelican Lake? Whatever the type VERY well made and thin.

Which one is older the corner tang are the dawton and what is the name of the last point u found I liked it better then the other two and nice bison all around good video quality pieces have a good season hunting

I check your channel almost every day for a new video and when you finally do drop a vid, it's always well-worth the wait. Incredible finds. Great variety between the three as well. Amazing on that last one that the ears didn't break off as delicate as they were but the base did. I've never seen an arrowhead like that before. That one or the side notch/uniface. Great video, sir. p.s. you are the undisputed bison skull king! I have never seen more than just an occasional jaw bone and even those I have no idea if they are even bison or not.

Great finds! Bison skull is excellent. The points are exceptional. I have a projectile point snapped at the base like yours I found in Michigan decades ago. The base was so narrow and thin its no surprise the broke at that point. I'm waiting for you to turn up a Clovis point at your site. Your corner notched point is fantastic find!

Gonna be tough to beat that day, but I bet you’ll try. I thought the Dalton was tops, but the corner tang has to steal the show in my opinion. You just don’t see them. Especially unbroken! That piece is fantastic. Thanks for sharing!

Nope, I don't. I used to be obsessed with fishing, which is how I accidentally found my first artifact. Now I hardly fish anymore, but it's something I'll probably get back into eventually.

Killer CT! Found my first CT in December. Unifaced, one edge had a steep bevel, with serrations. Other side was thin like a flake knife. Had a nice tang on it.
@LostinTimeYT2 жыл бұрын
I've found, or witnessed the finding of, a few mid-back tang knives and they have all been like you describe (and like the CT in the video). Uniface and very thin toward the tang side while thicker toward the cutting edge with the steep one way bevel you mentioned.

@@frawg5269 Up here in Washington state my hunting and fishing spots have become absolutely overrun in the past 15 years. That's despite the number of licenses being sold decreasing since 2014. It's sad af.

That's what they told me 15 years ago, and it just keeps getting better. I don't mind a little competition.
