When my former roommate moved into her new home, I filled her refrigerator and pantries with all her favorite food items. Because we were roommates, I knew her likes and dislikes so it was not difficult to make the purchases. My thought at the time was to lessen her expenses so that she can focus on decorating her new home. By the way, you are the best. So genuine.

Miss Heidi, I'm having a brunch gathering on a restaurant for two hours. What is the etiquette on greeting and socialising with the group (20-28 people) whle we are trying to eat? Thank you for another great video!

Hello Ena! Thank you so much for watching the video and asking such a great question! I think this would be a really good video! How kind of you to host a brunch, for Relatively large group. I’m sure it’s going to be absolutely lovely. My advice is for you to arrive early go over a few things, and be the first person at your guest. See when they arrive at the restaurant, you are there to greet them as the host, with a very warm welcome. You’ll be there early so you can discuss things like finances-will you be paying for everyone, or people be paying for themselves? - have that all worked out before the guests arrive so there is not a question and paying will be a smoother process. Also, Arriving early allows you time to see the table set-up -You’re going to need several tables, (my recommendation; best for conversation), and make sure you like the setting, and you are in an area of the restaurant that suits you. You need to be there early enough to make sure if there are any changes there’s time to change things. Another thought is are you or the venue supplying a centerpiece, a few flowers or any other type of arrangement? If so, make sure they’re there and placed how you would like them to be. While you’re eating, as the host, you probably will not be doing much eating, LOL, you will be going around table to tables, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable, and asking the guests. If they do they need anything and introducing people that may not know each other already. You have a very big job as host, but you’re going to make this a very lovely and memorable event! If you have any questions, please let me know, and we will do this together! Sending very best wishes for an absolutely amazing brunch! Warm regards, Heidi 💕🍽️

@@HeidiDulebohn1 Miss Heidi, thank you so much for the great information. I'm definately arriving early and I was unsure if I needed to introduce the guest among the guest. I'm having an engagement party but I'm calling it an engagement brunch. I was dissapointed not having one big table but I'm glad hearing from you that smaller table will work better. I will arrange the paying ahead of time too. Thank you again for taking the time to answer my question. Sending you a big hug.

@@enaalvarenga4623 hello! This sounds like a lovely way to celebrate an engagement, personally, I absolutely love branches! Well when you get there early, and you have taken care of finances and make sure the setting is perfect, then get ready to greet all your guests as they arrive. It may take a few minutes for everyone to arrive, and one possibility is you could arrange with the restaurant to have a Greeting drink for you to hand out as the guests arrive - nothing fancy, but maybe an ice tea or sparkling water or whatever you think your guest might like, and they can mingle for just a few minutes before everyone sits down, this is a perfect time for you to introduce all your guests to each other, which is such a nice welcoming gesture, and create a festive atmosphere. I think you’ll be very happy with multiple tables, it gives people a much better chance to talk among themselves, and you can go around table by table, making sure everyone is having a great time. You may ask the engaged couple to accompany you, as you go and greet each table, it will be a nice chance for the couple to say hello to all the guests. I think this sounds so lovely, please let me know how it goes. I’ll be thinking about you!🎉💍💕 Warm regards, Heidi💕
