I looked at these a lot earlier in the year BUT not at that level…a well specified S was my limit….BUT a loaded, Viper Green ex demonstrator with 4500 miles and a list of £105000 was very tempting at £71500 and even the insurance was a very pleasant surprise. That car you tested will soon be a “bargain” £99995 and then might make more sense. I’m glad you liked it…. That one tested is a very special car when well chosen! 😃😃😃😃Richard

Great review of probably the best big suv that you can buy. In the last 10y we had 3 Macan, currently an S with gts chassis. Fantastic car, no need for a Cayenne which is however more refined and has much more space inside, costing about 40% more...

The sweet spot is the Cayenne S, E-Hybrid. Got mine a month ago. 519 hp and 750Nm is plenty to have some fun. I can go to work in hybrid mode and get over 70 mpg as it's nearly all in electric. The only thing I would love to have is that V8 rumble, but we can't have it all.

No…I’m still using my Esso Oil Droplet key chain, my Esso yellow duster and have my Tiger in the Tank tail dangling from my filler cap! I did use my Green Shield Stamps to buy a picnic set and the Pink Stamps have gone out of date! 😎😎😎

I have just taken delivery of a fully optioned Cayenne Coupe Turbo V8 e-Hybrid last Friday here in Australia, after an 11 month wait. Early days, but loving it!! Previously an AMG E63s, which I loved; but time now for something a bit higher and more comfortable. Extra size taking a bit of getting used to it, but really enjoying the experience!! Off on a 3,000 klm journey next week - cannot wait😊

Brilliant review - although not opening the boot for the viewers to see in that whole 26 minutes was disappointing (for an SUV review!) Buyers or interested parties of this car that I know want to fill it with luggage for a trip to France, or fill the boot at the weekend with a race suit and helmet and all the gear that comes along with a race weekend.

Hi Ped There are many features to like with this car, but at that price I am not going to worry about the final spec, as way out of my price range.😥 However I wonder how many people will be tempted say in 3 yrs time when depreciation has taken its toll. If so make sure you have a good warranty with all that tec on board, which will not be cheap to replace when it goes wrong.😢

Couldn’t disagree more. A brilliant review from a fan of Porsche. Yeah Ped used to review a lot of attainable cars. He still does plenty of those. But we’ve watched his channel grow. We’ve gone on the journey with him and he can attract manufacturers and dealers to showcase their exotica. Piointlrss going on about price. It’s up against the Urus and the DBX and even that Ferrari SUV that I can’t spell. They’re waaay more expensive.

Porsche can’t buy enough electronic chips so no power adjustable steering. My Macan GTS was specified with power adjustable steering. Advised by Porsche that it might not be fitted because of chip shortage. When it arrived in April 2021 it was on the car but dealer said it was one of the last cars with this feature.

I worry about the planet, somi would charge it on trips and drive it on hybrid not slow, but efficiently. Then look at mpg. Almost no one tests hybrids to give me realistic consumption with charging. This is disappointing. I am sceptical about hybrids because I cannot get this information for long trips.
