Getting you triggered means this song did stupidly well.

Oh so the point of the song I'm not racist was to be racist. Got it, what is the utility of triggering someone?
@kennethkinsman4533 ай бұрын
@@christopherc8563 it’s to state commonly used racist stereotypes. In both sides. And triggering somebody is to get the heated reaction he was showing. He felt the stuff that were being said on a different level. He was able to relate with people acting that way toward him or somebody he knows. That’s good song writing. The term I’m not racist only needs to be stated when you’re doing something that can be taken that way.

@kennethkinsman453 What is the point of using or stating commonly used racist stereotypes? I think the second verse was terrible, There is so much that could be said about white people and white culture, Instead. They go with The truly fire bar you dint know fried chicken The point of the song was to be intentionally provocative so that the artist could make more money. Nothing about this song promotes healthy conversation, Triggering and angering traumatized people by Screaming the wildest racist lies is not good, They don't push back on the obvious lies the hypocrisy, Of almost if not every single thing said in the first verse So I asked again.What is the point of this, Other than to profit off trauma

You gotta understand, Joyner wrote this so that it's only truth on both sides. He addressed all of the points on both sides. We only come together when we understand our differences. If you think one side is spitting more truth than the other, you need to listen again.
@TheColdrush226 күн бұрын
You are totally missing the point of the song. Joyner is portraying the worst sides of both sides in this song. You are reinforcing the stereotypes, dude. They are BOTH lying. They aren't the normies of any of us. Redo this after you understand. They both talking bullshit at points. (Edit: 10:22 This is the BEST! YOU GOT IT!!! SUBBED.)

Nah that's not how "we" all think. But enough do that its become the general stereotype for "how all white people feel", And its not true. But Joyner isn't painting all this as facts, instead he is shedding light on the stereotypes of both sides that cloud the majority of both sides from wanting to be equals. Peace and love. EDIT: Touching on the subject of "Black People" not raising their kids properly, as a white man with a black wife i couldn't ask for a more loving, caring and reasonable person to be the mother of my kids.

It takes a lot more than conversations to like deprogrammed racists. breaking through the cognitive dissidence is difficult. The song did nothing to point that out to address any of the false stereo types or the hypocrisy, I don't get the point at all

@@christopherc8563 we are going to just have to disagree. You have to start somewhere and having a conversation is a start. What you’re talking about goes beyond and when talking to someone like that… you won’t get anywhere. 🤷🏻♀️
