Trent picking the 1910 last had me gasping for air. I know it's one of his favorites, and it's on many people's favorites lists, and mine too. It's ok, some days some stuff just tastes way different than usual.

1910 is absolutely delicious. So good I don’t mind the lower proof. Also love coopers craft. Drinks like a double oaked product. Early Times isn’t my thing.

I have started to do the same thing Trenton said about picking up notes on the nose. I smell all sorts of stuff differently and more intentionally now than before I started my bourbon journey. It may bring some whack nose notes sometimes but it has helped me a lot trying new stuff picking up notes.

I truly believe that when you blind similar whiskey the outcome will/can change. I blinded all my 100 proofers twice now and the winner of the first time didn’t make final four the last time I did it. I think it’s a good exercise to see how my palate has changed

I wouldn't mind a few more OF's in my collection . I have the shelf 100, a 1920, and 3 barrel picks. I like the picks the best and all 3 are different with the 1920 following a close second to those 3. Great blind guys.

Really enjoyed the video. New Bourbon drinker love the education I get from you guys. I most enjoy my Bourbon on ice with a little simple syrup. I always try it neat first but rarely one up with the flavors you guys do. I will keep trying.

I agree with you that OF1910 is a little too drying on the aftertaste, but it's nose is so NICE!. That's why I normally mix in some OF 1920 to brighten it. It might now have been so drying had it been first instead of last. Nice review. I was wondering about Coopers, but now I don't have to purchase one.

Happy Birthday Kurt 🎂 I would have rather seen the Old Forester 100 proof signature series rather than the Early times going head-to-head with the 1897 because of the unbelievable difference in price and both @ 100 proof. all my local liquor stores are out of the 1924 but also at 100 proof and upwards of $115 (much higher online) a bottle I would go with the Old Forester Redstone Barrel Proof Single Barrel @ 130-135 proof at $84 all day every day. Great review as usual guys and Cheers! 🥃

I was in Gardiner Mt years ago for an extended period and had access to hard-to-find bottles at the state run store. I made a booze trip and had been drinking Cooper's Craft and had access to ECBP, Eagle Rare, JD barrel proof...lots of stuff that was hard to find elsewhere...and I ended up just rebuying the Cooper's Craft. It was around $27-ish and was so enjoyable, to me, as a sipper it just didn't make sense to buy anything else. They also had an Old Rip 10 for about $200 which I passed on too. Not a fan of ET but everything else is solid for me

Blinds will always throw you unless the pours are significantly different in character and flavor. Always happens. 1910 is great, not sure why anyone would feel bad for picking that! I'm curious if knowing the price of the bottles (price considered) would change the overall placement?

I'm really conflicted about having missed the 1924 at SRP! I can find it for about $250 at best, and I just can't justify it. I would really like to see a blind and/or just a comparison between the Old Forester 1897 and the Old Forester (Signature) 100 Proof, since they're both Old Forester 100 proofs, it would be interesting to hear your take on how they line up with one another.

I do like the 1910. I have noticed that as the bottle wears down, the taste gets more oakie and tannic, so I understand Trent’s take.

Cooper’s Craft supposedly is a blend of the standard Old Forester mashbill and the KoK/Brown Foreman Early Times/1924 mashbill.

Not sure if this has been done in the past, but ya'll should do an affordable high proof blind. Something like: OF 1920 (buy a new bottle), Rare Breed, 1792 FP, OGD 114, Maker's Cask Strenght, JDSBBP (or rye), and Benchmark FP.
